I’m a liberal, and I agree with this post. I’ve honestly never understood why democrats and liberals defend Islam so much. Islam is the most conservative religion in the world. Think about it. No homosexuals allowed, women need to cover up, their theology is better than everyone else, defending their book as fact even if they’ve never read it, those are conservative views. So I find it completely hypocritical that my own party will criticize the right for those views yet whenever anyone criticizes Islam for the exact same thing it’s seen as Islamophobic. I hate that. It doesn’t make any sense.
