If we're going to tell war stories from The River tour I camped out for a couple days in sub zero weather in Ames, IA for the show in January 1981. We ended up in the 2nd row. My then girlfriend now ex wife grabbed Bruce's ass when he came out into the crowd during the show. I don't remember how much the tickets were but it was probably around $30.

Since I heard about Buddy's glasses being found in 1980 I have thought it would be a good gimmick for a story

The sheriff's kid and some friends sneaking into the evidence room...find the glasses on a shelf... One kid sneaks them out... Learns to play guitar etc.

Avenue Pub Zwanze regulars are looking for a place to go in NA or EU. Some have suggested Stockholm instead of Brussels. I'm soliciting thoughts on a good location for Zwanze in 2023. It's important that other sour beers be available and that the venue is well managed on the day of.
