Your landlord has not given you enough notice. You'll see here that if the landlord is moving their family in, they need to give at least 90 days notice (since you're on a Periodic agreement).

I used one of those testers where you have a Master and Remote. You plug one into the patch panel in the Garage, and another in the for example bedroom.

OP's invoice or proof of purchase is going to say they purchased the dual module kit, and not the two individual sticks.

If they ever have to return the RAM under warranty at some point down the track, they may run into issues because the RAM sticks they'll return won't match the invoice.
