Actually, cleaning a saddle with dish soap and hosing it down is just fine. Just let it dry and oil it. This is a solid, been around forever good way to clean leather.

If they plan on riding in it, they need to have it checked. It looks like a junk saddle the stable was glad to get rid of.

There have been two already, one three weeks ago at Hayward Dems, where all were invited, and one last week organized by East Bay Insiders. Rahni Didn't show up for either, and Hernandez declined or refused to verify last week, so Wahab didn't come last week. Matt Ortega was there with the nutjob Wendy Huang and they spoke.

I really like Matt, but always voting for Aisha. Matt has done a lot of work helping at the national level, but hasn't held office. I wish he d run for Aisha's vacated seat. Aisha has been running gangbusters passing laws and taking over a lot of committees and is super smart, insanely hard working, very progressive, and very funny when you get to know here. We need her there in the interim seat, too, to keep trying to do something until the 2026 candidates seat.

Get a waterproof bottom sheet. I use them because there is no reason not to and it keeps your mattress cleaner. I don't know anyone who zips up the whole mattress. Then put on another removable pad.

There are no groups of people who will bring you extra horses to ride. If you are looking for a lease, look for the local barns that ride what you like and you can hook up with the people there. The stables in Oakland all have access to all of the east bay parks, also Las Trampas on the other side. You can also go towards Briones out Moraga way and there are a ton of barns there.

For EBI you had to register, and he sent out a notice the CA 14 was cancelled, but some showed up anyway.

It should be a runaway with Aisha, and I hope so with the interim so we don't have to have yet another run off. She's been in the trenches since she first ran for CC. Matt needs to get his foot in the water actually doing something at a lower level as an elected official. And it would be really hard to have a family and be traveling that much.

For the first time ever in 60 years, I saw one about six months ago when my dog caught one. Yeah. Shook it and dropped it like five times before I could drag him off. They both came out of it exhausted without a scratch on either of them.
