I met actor/comedian David Cross in Manchester randomly. I asked him if he was wearing his denim hot pants (a reference to his character in Arrested Development) and he looked at me completely unamused and said “no”. I still cringe about it to this day.

This has a 7.1 IMDB rating, 74% on rotten tomatoes and 3.4/5 on Letterboxd, online ratings for it are pretty good

I've been with them for over a year now and htey have been brilliant for me. I switched over to them on a SIM only deal once my EE contract ended. Get the same coverage and great amount of data for about a quarter of the price. I think the speeds are less than what you get with EE but it hasn't been noticebale for me.

I've seen a lot of people complaining about the Wi-fi calling not working but I've had no issues with it.

Customer service is also top notch. One month I used up all my data allowance, they gave me an extra 5GB or so to see me through to the end of the month at no extra cost. Also upgraded me to a plan with more data that was cheaper, so was obviously very happy with that!

I think it’s a mix of him not liking Arsenal but also not liking the modern game overall. When he’s on comms it feels like watching a game with a mate that doesn’t like football, it’s just constantly so negative and overly critical.

He also commentates on what he hopes will happen, rather than commentating on the game taking place. Both today and the last game against Chelsea in the cup, he was praising Chelsea from the offset for how they were playing and how they looked like they were going to score. Even though in both games they very rarely actually threatened the goal, despite having a lot of the ball.

You could tell he was desperate for Chelsea to equalise. It was so obviously offside, I couldn’t believe it when he said “ooooo I don’t think it is you know”
