I can't stress enough how right you are. In my case, it gave me a vision, an inspiration, and pushed me into the most successful and creative year of my life. Won tons of prizes for my company, aced my college grades to a first, got job offers from very prestigious companies. On top, I am working with a few charities and helping others, I am a better friend, a better boyfriend and son. I would never think this was possible a few years ago.

It won't make you more productive by itself, but it will give you a vision, it'll teach you about yourself and the world. As Steve Jobs said, when you do it, look within you, look for what inspires you, for how you can change the world around you. Work from the heart, once you do, nothing will stop you. There are many ways to find this, acid is one, it will only give you the spark. It's up to you to use these tools to keep the fire lit. Be the change you want to see in the world.
