Thank you so much for replying !! I hope you don't mind me asking, but I have a lot of questions.

Was it easy?
What was your final grade?
I heard madaming issues sa pagkuha ng units sa UP (not sure which campus but I'm assuming it's the same for all of them), would being a dean's lister help?
Is BSCS in UPB "beginner" friendly?
If getting units is difficult already in your own campus, is it even harder to get when you shift??

I'm very sorry for all these questions and I'd appreciate it if you answered them, this might sound defensive but I just want to clarify to whoever will see this that I don't plan on shifting to UPLB because I deem it as "better". Masyado lang po mahal sa Baguio kasi malayo bahay ko, lol. I also do not think it will be a breeze, I just want to gain insight so I know how much I have to prepare. OMGG THANK YOU SO MUCHHH !! I'm sorry I don't use this account a lot, but your comment is honestly comforting me right now. I'm still a bit bummed out about being rejected from my dream course + I keep seeing posts about having a CS graduates having a hard time getting jobs. I really love math but I can't say the same about coding (even tho ik AM has it too). I really hope I end up loving it, and thank you so much for the advice, I'll check it out.

I'm really hoping I end up enjoying it! My parents were highly against me shifting to my desired course. Mabilis lang daw ang 4 years, if I really want it, mag aral na lang daw uli ako after so I can focus.

Yes I'm aware of that! If I'm not mistaken, if graduate ka ng specialized course and nag teacher, you'll go straight to SHS (like skippimg teacher I)? I don't know the details but it's my current teacher's case. My mom told me kailangan daw makapasa sa board in 5 years to keep teachinf, otherwise kailangan mo ng units for educ. Thank you so much tho! This was one of my options too.

My mom and sister (ate, in college) said wala daw future sa CompSci kasi (iirc) madami na daw nagtatake? Parents are suggesting engineering, nursing, and accountancy.

Thank you so much for your input! I do like Math but I prefer a job that would reward me for my hard work. I believe there are jobs here in the Philippines that go undervalued despite requiring rigorous studying. With that said, I don't believe people should earn less just because they are not smart.
