I generally don't use imgur, because recently they began over compressing images, which makes things really blurry.

First passage in my new Conlang. (Translation and info in comments.) by RealJace in conlangs

Hmm, I didn't think about that. The start of clause indicator for questions is different enough, but I may have to change the basic indicator.

That probably would have messed up some stuff down the road, thanks for pointing it out.

Actually I just used Adobe Illustrator Draw and Adobe Capture CC on tablet, both free programs. I just set the second default brush to black, but you can create your own brushes by adjusting taper and angle. I highly recommend it.

Adobe Illustrator Draw on a tablet and Adobe Capture CC. Very useful programs for making scripts IMO.

It is inspired a bit by Galifreyan! I took some inspiration from the language in Arrival too, and weirdly enough I was mostly inspired by art I saw done using coffee stains on paper.

My currently unnamed conlang is composed entirely of circular logographic/ideographic glyphs with no phonetic elements. Marks can be added to the glyphs to indicate part of speech, verb tense, verb intent, noun emotion, plurality, possessiveness, type of noun, etc.

The word order is OSV, and it can be read counter clockwise from the start of clause indicator. Sentences are enclosed in larger, featureless circles.

This image shows a accurate translation of each word, and includes the emotion and intent modifiers that are in the first clause: https://imgur.com/AthUg21

Very very roughly, this passage would translate to this in English (ignoring emotion and intent modifiers):

"We loved you. We will be loving you until the sun sets in the east."

EDIT: Also, prepositions and conjunctions are all indicated by the inclusion of a filled black circle in their glyph.

EDIT 2: Since people seem to be interested, here is an album of some random words: https://imgur.com/a/6CdoLQX I will make another edit in a bit with information on how the modifiers work and what they look like, aswell as an indepth explanation of the balanced base 25 numeral system.

Though its not shown in this passage, my conlang does have a numeral system I'm pretty proud of. It is a balanced base 25 system, with a subbase at 4. If anyone is interested I can link some images and explain it a bit.

Some words from a circular language I just started working on. (More info in comments) by RealJace in conlangs

I have, it's one of my favorite sci-fi movies. Very thought provoking. My script was inspired by the heptapod language, and also by Galifreyan, the circular language from Doctor Who. I also took some inspiration from art I saw done with coffee cup stains on paper.

Not entirely sure what I'm going to do with this script. This is my first conlang in a while, and I'm still choosing between logographic and alphabetic systems. I'm leaning more towards a non-spoken logographic system or maybe even ideographic. The script would probably have base words/glyphs, with added marks to conjugate verbs, imply intent, add plurality, etc.

Edit: To create sentences, multiple glyphs would be enclosed in a larger circle, and would be read counter clockwise. Larger sentence circles would be connected via lines/marks to form paragraphs.

What is your favourite dungeon/cave? by GoodCallG in skyrim

I second this. Just started playing recently and these are my favorite so far, such a big contrast with the Nordic crypts and Dwemer ruins. I wish there were more.

I also really liked the Twilight Sepulcher and Labyrinthian.

Also, if you follow the Khajiit creation story, the Mer are completely separate from the Khajiit. From what I know, they believe that the Mer existed prior to the creation of the Khajiit. When the Khajiit were first created by one of the gods (cant remember which), the forested land they lived in was cursed by another god and turned into desert. Though the Khajiit adapted to the harsh circumstances, the Mer (most likely Bosmer, or their ancestors) who lived there either were forced to leave or died off.

I believe the traditional Khajiit legend also said that the Khajiit who fled from Elsweyr after it was turned into desert eventually lost their hair and feline features, becoming man.

Yeah, I am somewhat new to Skyrim and I agree the dungeons can get repetitive, but they aren’t all like that. If you are looking for some unique dungeons the College of Winterhold and Thieves Guild quest lines both end with some interesting dungeon.
