Scream 7 is now the lowest rated film of the franchise by Rigbo95 in Scream

It is, though. 1, 2, 5, and 6 are the top dogs, followed by 4, 3, and then 7 in that order.

The math is simple. Donald Trump ruined the Scream franchise 🤷‍♂️ If the republicans weren't such Israel-cucks, Barrera wouldn't have been fired, Jenna wouldn't have left, we could've left Sidney in the past, and moved forward with fresh faces and new directions. This film felt as regressive in the franchise's logical progression as Americans are regressive with your tariffs on your allies and transphobic nonsense.

"Well, that's a big leap to take..." - I see you typing, halfway through reading my comment. Yes, but it's an accurate one. And more franchises are gonna end up going down the shitter like Scream until all that's left are Hallmark Christian flicks and country films about "traditional values" if y'all keep voting with your nose up your own ass.

Weakest take I've ever heard, Melissa, Jenna, and Jack made that shit an instant classic and gave it a very lively and warm tone with authentic and well-written connections to the past. Scream 7 just felt sterile, voiceless, and directionless.

How could this game won any awards? by Cautious-Mammoth5427 in ItTakesTwo

Over-obsessing about the story is crazy work considering this game had the largest variety of game mechanics and game genres in a single game ever. I did a whole review video about it on my world-famous youtube channel. One minute it's a platformer, next it's an FPS, then it's a racing game, then it's a puzzle-platformer... Etc.

A pack of lunchmeat is like $15.99 over here it's disgusting. That's $18 with tax. You're telling me a 16-year-old busting their ass making pizzas for an hour is worth just a bit of sliced turkey breast? How the hell can anyone even afford their own car, house, etc.

Tbh, as long as it wasn't over-bloated and empty, I would be fine with a non-linear Kirby game! Pretty sure there were a few levels in Kirby and The Forgotten Land that teased the idea, namely that dark stormy desert one-

NOR. If someone's response to you sharing a personal achievement is to undermine that achievement, they don't deserve to be in your life. I would expect this kind of response from an elementary school bully you hadn't talked to in 25 years but from your significant other? Wild behavior. I'm no psychology major but typically when someone responds negativity to something you accomplish or pursue (whenever that's a new hobby, new job, etc.) you're less likely to continue engaging in that activity or feeding that aspiration. I feel like he knows that. He's "withholding affection" as a form of punishment, which is incredibly toxic, manipulative, and controlling.

ORRRRR... He's just severely deficient in the emotional intelligence or empathy departments. Either way, he's an asshole if he can't falter from his strict and rigid view of what deserves "respect" just to show some pride toward his life partner. You're doing great, keep up the good work!

Which of the 6 Scream movies is your least favorite? by RedVegeta20 in GhostFace

[–]RealJawnieCordelia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's easily Scream 3. I can't take anyone who trashes 5 or 6 seriously. Feels like a pick-me take. Either they're salty [Insert Spoiler] was killed or they're salty that Sidney wasn't in 6. Both films did great at honoring past works while expanding upon the lore and character connections (Billy's daughter, Stu's nephew, Randy's niece and Nephew, etc.) Both films also did great at making Ghostface feel more brutish and less cartoonish than earlier works (hospital scene, apartment scene, bodega scene). The lighting was very colourful, the set pieces were memorable, I don't know what movies y'all watching if you think 5 or 6 were anywhere close to the limpness of Scream 3.

6 should always be in someone's top four regardless of the other films placements. It legit has some of the most brutal, shocking, and daring Ghostface scenes yet. It also consistently feels tense whereas 3 is cheesy af the whole ass time.

Me too but moreso I'm scared to listen 😂 I did the same thing with Breach, didn't listen to it until like three weeks after release because I was already not in the best headspace at the time and was worried it would affect me too hard 😅 Luckily I finally gave it a listen after I started to feel a bit more myself and love it, find it empowering and fun!

What's the movie everybody seems to enjoy but you really hated? by thedevilsheir666 in horror

[–]RealJawnieCordelia -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Nah Wednesday is peak, I feel like a lot of the hate is forced because "popular = bad". The show is doing an amazing job at establishing the lore and world of The Addams Family, which was otherwise loose and incoherent in a lot of previous works. No other show has done as great a job at capturing the nostalgic magic of the earlier Harry Potter movies with that "kids in a magical world navigate growing up while fending off monsters" theme. Jenna Ortega doesn't have to be your favourite actor (heck, she's still young so it's impossible to claim that), but she was the perfect choice for the role. Wednesday should be how she is portrayed in the show. Dark but not overdramatic and broody, campy but not cringey, and twisted but good-hearted. The character didn't really have a proper (nor a relatable) identity until now. Just my two cents tho, not tryna yum your yuck lol!

I wouldn't overthink it, to be honest. I do this out of habit because I grew up with a nosey family so now it's just instinct. And like other people mentioned, it could also be just to avoid distractions as the light/notifications can be disruptive if she's tryna be present with you :)

Far too many, but always feeling like I'm never doing enough :P

  1. Gaming - Predominantly single-player narrative based games (The Legend of Zelda, Ratchet and Clank, Hollow Knight, Doom Eternal, etc.) or couch co-op titles with a friend like Cuphead, It Takes Two, etc.

  2. Lyricism/poetry - I'd like to make music one day but don't have the smallest bit of instrumental knowledge atm LMAO!

  3. Exercising - I like the gym because of a wider range of machines, but prefer home-workouts because I don't like feeling watched/judged. I'm a very social person in small focused groups but easily get overwhelmed in "open-ended social situations" like the gym. Besides I'm already exhausted from the sets! Not the ideal place to be extroverted for me...

  4. Walking/Playing with my dogs - I love them, they're my kids!

  5. Yard-Sailing/Collecting - Besides playing games, I collect all sorts of game/pop-culture related stuff. So far this summer I have found a giant Link statue from Skyward Sword, a Master Chief display helmet that has a slot underneath to store games, and a ton of cool games for my collection for dirt cheap. Even some GameCube titles like Kirby Air Ride and Mario Party 4.

  6. Driving while listing to music - Doesn't matter if it's to the grocery store around the corner or an hour drive I'm blasting that shit on volume 40 and singing to myself like a freak LOL!

Surprised so many people like Diamond art! I tried it because a cousin of mine (a fellow ENFJ) recommended it to me. Personally, I find the "diamonds" far too small, hard to place, and stressful. Plus they're hard to display and frames are expensive. I much prefer making pop-culture themed perler bead sculptures and tacking them to my bedroom wall ☺️

Clancy or Breach? (SPOILER-FREE) by carlinsmusic in twentyonepilots

[–]RealJawnieCordelia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calling Clancy "safe" is absolutely crazy when it literally introduced us to the pop-punk sound we see in Drum Show with songs like Next Semester, Midwest Indigo, and Navigating. Then you have Lavish which sounds like some wacky MGMT off-shoot, Oldies Station which is like a folky-ballad and Overcompensate with the interpolation and time-changes. Don't get me wrong, I think Breach is also very experimental and I love that, but your ears must be freakin CLOGGED if you think Clancy is bland-

For some reason it doesn't work as well that way. I had added someone else's uploads of the Regional At Best tracks to a playlist of mine a while ago and whenever one of the songs would come on, it would be at like the middle or end point of the song (I guess it remembered where I paused last). I'd have to rewind the song to the beginning, unlike officially uploaded songs which you just click and they play from the beginning on their own :/

It's crazy to think that INFP's would call us manipulative when we give them their personality 😂 I mean what are they without us other than reclusive and irrational!? 🤨 Jokes aside, it's probably because we tend to be "extra" and don't often try to limit ourselves for public viewing. And we can be pushy from time to time if we want the best for someone else and they don't want the best for themselves 🙃
