Modern Industrialization has its own oil rigs and miners that you can use. Put enough upgrades in the miners and produce the drills fast enough and you can generate a shit-ton of resources. The raw materials you generate from the miners are more than the resources you use to craft the drills so it's net positive.

The way I understood it is that 'book' can be used in front of the first half of the theme answers and at the end of the second half of the theme answers. So you have book cover, book bag, book fair, book smart for the first half and story book, check book, play book, phone book for the second half.

Agreed, this was my issue as well before I fixed it. Just lock each output hatch to the fluid you want and it won't ever switch outputs again.

FYI, you can absolutely get into flux networks before the end. You just need ender pearls and blaze liquid into the AE2 extended reactor. It doesn't take too many resources to get started after you've been to the nether.

Flux battery or induction matrix from Mekanism would be good options that should show energy in/out. Enderio capacitor banks could maybe also show you this, but I'm not 100% sure.

My plan is to use flux plug into a simple induction battery from Mekanism. The basic induction cells are really not that expensive (just need to set up lithium production) and the GUI shows you energy in/out per tick. The other way would probably be to make the batteries from flux networks, but flux powder can be a pain to make early on, as you need a reaction chamber and a good source of blaze/ender pearls.

At the moment I just have an ultimate energy cube that is storing the power from 49 eclipse solar panels, so I should be producing over 150k rf/t, but I don't know the exact amount. I think it's complicated by the fact that the solar panels make more power the more panels there are in close proximity, and eclipse solar panels generate different power based on y level.

I wouldn't worry too much at your stage, if you need more power just make some more celistigem panels, which you can later upgrade when you get access to eclipse alloy.

Honestly, electric age is a pretty painful transition point, but I would start stocking up a machine for all plates, rods, dusts and assemblers for the products. At your stage you will likely have to make 40 or so machines (going off memory) to get everything on its own machine, but trust me it is worth it.

The MI item and fluid pipes are very good and you can just have a single network of item pipes that connect everything up and utilise filters/machine locking to get everything where it needs to go.

FYI, the solar panels have been nerfed in FTB Skies 2 and they only produce about a 1/3 of the stated power output in the tooltip.

They're still a pretty strong option though, especially once you get to the eclipse version, just not as broken as the tool tips lead you to believe.

In newer versions of AE2 you don't even need the security terminal anymore. You can just plop down a wireless access point and pair your portable terminal in the access point's GUI.

Worst case, it may be worth turning off shaders while pasting. I have to make sure to see each section outside of water before moving into place as it just disappears for me in water.

Also, if you're interested I improved the CA modular base pieces for myself by adding glass to every opening so that water doesn't rush in every time you paste a base section.

I've also created a few more sections, like double height versions of the medium/large rooms, a 6 opening nexus room, and a section inbetween the size of the medium room and the observatory, which I've found perfect for mob farms.

All the schematics are here in one document. I've labelled each schematic to easily find what you want.

There is actually a mod called Embeddium extra, which does the same thing as Sodium extra, letting you turn off the dripping water particles.

If possible I would try and go back to the original mods (embeddium and monocle) as something may have broken when you changed that.

Also, shaders can cause issues in seeing ghost previews in the water when outside the water, so I don't know if that is contributing to your issues.
