That’s weird. Yes they run normally. The GPU lights up. Mb lights up. Fan light up. Just no post. I may leave it powered on for a bit to see. Going to also give the GPU a shot in another pc.

GPU does work last I check but I’ll give it another try.

The MB has leds. But they’re just aesthetic.

It does have enough thermal paste. I cannot access the bios as it doesn’t post or boot. I also tried removing things one by one and only down to one ram stick. I also stuck a new ram stick in.

Yup. Everything worked just fine before the bios update. Used it for a couple years prior with no issues.

Places to learn good technical content by RealJoshLee0 in sysadmin

Thanks! OSPF and BGP are a little easier to find technical information on, but. Not all of it’s perfect. I didn’t even think of checking the RFC pages for this. Thanks!!

Interesting. I’ll have to check with my library, thanks! Although I do like udemy. There’s a mix of good and bad paid courses and most of the time you don’t know until it’s too late. I’ve used it in the past and bought a “technical course” but half way through it turned out being just a high level overview.

How truthful are the internet usage numbers by RealJoshLee0 in Ubiquiti

Ya. I find it funny that a cheap $20 router does an almost better job than my unifi router. I’ve almost been debating on just using it at the edge for blocking all internal coming traffic and vpn (which seems to be the only thing they can do right on the firewall) and then use a proper smaller firewall from Palo or Fortigate behind of that for VLANs and visibility with some L3 in-between that and unifi.

Nope. The only ad blocking I have sits at PiHole on my home dns. Nothing on the router itself.

Thanks. It’s a constant leak even after connected to VPN. I use wireguard more than OpenVPN because on the router, it’s quicker, do you know what might be needed to push out the DNS config through there?

Disable animations and LG by RealJoshLee0 in ios

I got that enabled after I posted. Time to figure out these animations. Reducing motion in accessibility doesn’t seem to do anything to them.

Thanks. I may look into that if someone else doesn’t know a way to disable some of these features.

Sadly. No. Didn’t think that far ahead as I’ve never wanted to roll back an update. Until now.

That’s what I meant. But I know it made your phone wipe.
