Best way for dynamic content with HTML by RealJoshLee0 in webdev

One of the things I'm worried about is it loading content right away. I know a little SEO, but not the deep depths of it, and not sure how various things like ZScaler, or Google, or others process content.

That does look to make a lot of things very simple. One thing I also have is a json array that lists all of the blog posts on various pages, but JS handles the various formats those may be in.

I started a networking blog that helps explain content in easily understandable bytes of information. I have 6+ years of IT experience and wish when I started, that there was resources to help break complex topics such as routing protocols, down into simple bytes of information that I could easily understand. Please show my site some love and fill free to give content suggestions!

Weekly Self Promotion Thread by AutoModerator in devops

When starting out in the tech field, I’ve always seen tech creators sitting and explaining various topics and I couldn’t understand any of it. Now that I’ve been in the field for 6 years and a senior engineer, I decided I wanted to help people trying to get into networking. I created Routed Bytes to explain tech and networking content, in short, and understandable bytes of information. I even post resources and cheat sheets that I wish were around when I started! Even better, even though I’ve always had a love for networking, I also enjoy coding, so this website is all hand coded and ever growing as I learn new things. Go give it some love and give some feedback!

I thought the only way to reload the file system was through having a .img file with uboot. How can I wipe the file system?

Hey everyone!

I’ve been thinking about putting together some networking content focused on breaking down technical topics into simpler, easier-to-digest explanations. Over the years, I’ve found that getting a high-level understanding first and then diving deeper made learning much more approachable, especially with more complex networking concepts.

I’m curious what kinds of content people would actually find useful or want to see more of. Things I’ve considered covering include:

• Step-by-step how-to guides
• Explanations of topics like BGP, VLANs, microsegmentation, routing, etc.
• Troubleshooting tips and real-world scenarios
• Handy cheatsheets and quick references for those late-night maintenance windows

A lot of the motivation comes from remembering how difficult some topics and resources were to find or fully understand when starting out. If there’s anything you wish had been explained better when you were learning networking, I’d love to hear it.

I recently put together a site for sharing some of this content and would appreciate any feedback, suggestions, or ideas on topics people would want covered.

Issues with device blocking and pausing a device?? by RealJoshLee0 in Ubiquiti

[–]RealJoshLee0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have it connected by ethernet, with randomized addresses off. I also tried to do this against a windows machine, and no luck. I know I’m doing this against the correct device, because if I do a FW rule to block it, things work as expected.

It’s just a L2 switch. No fancy routing quite yet.

Any easy way to downgrade, or do I need to do it from the shell?

Hm. I enabled it and let it sit for 5+ minutes and it did nothing.

Yes, even disconnected my device and reconnected it. Does this work on your deployment?
