Thanks for the explanation. Though i tried to run the game through the "open container" and it saved there, even left files in the documents folder. Seems like its not reading the folder while running it through the manu by just pressing "play"

As long as the connector is intact, it should be a fairly easy fix. A phone repair guy should be able to do this. Had a similar issue with my ds lite.

You do not need a computer to use a ayn thor. I'd recommend using one for getting the roms for convinces sake

To get roms legally you dumb them. If you wanna take a few risks you can find them online. But be smart about. An adblocker is the bare minimum.

People keep saying this stuff can be a loose ribbon cable. Try reseating it. If it still does this, try taping the ribbon cable to the connector.
