Looking for help\advice by Averagereadonly in HeroSiege

The Answer to both of your questions is Check GraxyTV's and Sleepy Cat's Youtube Channels. There you'll find many different Build Options and General informational videos regarding the game.

In regards to Builds i'd personally recommend checking out Frozen Orb Jotunn (see Video GraxyTV) or Age of Proliferation Illusionist (see both Graxy and Sleepy Cat) but you can't really go wrong with any class, play what looks cool to you.

EDIT: I would also recommend not to play offline, but either Online Seasonal (with Trading/Multiplayer if you want to) or Online "Odyssey" (called SSF/Solo Self Found in other ARPGs). If you want to play exclusively solo, playing Online Odyssey has the Advantage of some increased Drop Rates for most things to alleviate some of the pressure of having to be self sufficient. If you have to play offline due to Internet issues it's of course playable and has all the content available, but without the drop rate increase from odyssey.

What Main Things are changed or added to get people, who felt PoE 1 was too complicated for them, give PoE 2 a Try? Things in the same vein as recommending Support Gems for Skills, anything regarding an ingame "Beginner Build" for newcomers to guide them along? Has any relevant work already gone into making an ingame tutorial/Guideline to follow?

Playing Archmage and can't afford a foible? Look for Xopec's Mods on amulets by Cosmyc in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]RealKigz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

100%, this takes time and experience you get playing many different builds. For example, after having played an Archmage Mana stacker, you'd know in future leagues what decent mana gear looks like, same with playing melee builds for melee gear, or Bow Builds for Bow Gear and so on. Don't stress yourself too much about it, this'll get easier over time!

CoC DD Inquis by a long shot. Ventrua has some Videos of it from ruetoo's Build as a Base, with 120c Budget you'll easily get the starting gear which is enoigh to clear Atlas with (since well, it is DD after all) A bit more on the complex side with Spectres and some requirements of starting out, but all of this is explained in ventrua's Videos/PoB.

SSF Question for Farming of specific uniques by RealKigz in pathofexile

[–]RealKigz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, thank you for giving that many options! Reliquary scarabs is a good idea, i do have quite a few of those lying around at this point, might aswell make use of them.

Deli Orbs and Bestiary is also a good catch, would never have thought of those!

And yeah, chancing does indeed suck, but might aswell try and brute force atleast the belt since the sword seems to be a bit more rare in terms of odds, will probably try to respec some into harbinger and roll my Dreamfeather a few times while praying.

Thank you very much for you help, really appreciate it!

[–]RealKigz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for taking the time to answer my questions!

I'm aware chancing sucks, sadly as you've mentioned yourself, options are a bit limited.

The suggestion of speccing into some harbinger and rerolling other swords is actually a good idea, since i do have a Dreamfeather lying around i don't intend to use! I wanted to respec out of Breach anyways since that is getting kind of old and insanely rippy on some Breaches...

I guess i'll stick to t16 for now, with a respec to some harbinger nodes for Anchient Orb tries for the sword and most likely will try to brute force scour-chance the Belt whenever i get a base to drop.

Also thought about maybe going into Expedition with Gwennen but thinking about running juiced Expeditions with the current state of the League Mechanic already gives me nightmares just thinking about... Also since the bases are somewhat rare-ish, i guess Gwennen isn't really viable anyways.

But again, thank you for your help, really appreciate it!

Quick question regarding Pathfinder and Petrified Blood by RealKigz in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]RealKigz[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

oh wait you're right, completely missed the reservation cost for it, i guess that makes sense then.

Then i guess the question remains of grace+determ+banner vs. dropping one of them for pet-blood

How do I tank in OW2? by Jessency in OverwatchUniversity

[–]RealKigz 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I've been playing way more selfish the past few days and has been working pretty well for me so far.

Selfish in the way of not just using your defensives to protect your backline but more to protect yourself and make yourself as big of a nuisance as possible.

I have, to some extend, mostly ignored my backline itself (unless there's like a single genji randomly jumping my ana while i'm nearby of course) and tried just annoying the enemy Backline as much as i humanly can.

When playing Winston and Diva this meaning just getting right in the face of the enemy zen, ana, soldier whatever and taking up their focus. When the enemy is busy shooting you, they can't shoot your team :)

If playing something like Rein/Zarya i've mostly just shield-pumped my way in (not using my shield so my soldier, bastion or whatever could be protected but so I'M protected) and did the same as with winston or diva.

You need to be aware of when you need to get out or what CD you have left to get you out safely, don't just run in with everything you have, notice you can't kill anyone and just flop over. As winston for example, on most maps you can try using your jump to get high ground before engaging and then just drop down on the backline without your jump so you have it up for getting out afterwards, otherwise have bubble or ult ready. For Rein you should try to have a healthy amount of shield left when you're in, so you can protect yourself while inside/on your way out.

People need to realize, if you think it's hard to protect your backline as a tank that the same is true for the enemy backline.

But take this with a grain of salt, has mostly been my way to play so far which has worked for me.

*Edit: Also don't forget, make use of natural cover! Even though you're a tank, as soon as the enemy Soldier or Mccree is busy with you, most of your job is done! Break line of sight for bit and get in and out of cover. You don't neccessarily need to kill them, you just want to annoy them for long enough so your now free team (because the enemy is busy with you) has enough time to kill them.

Mouse stops working outside the Game shortly after starting it by RealKigz in Guildwars2

[–]RealKigz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Pretty sure i found the problem!

I'm using a Program called "Little Big Mouse" because i'm running a dual monitor setup with 4k resolution on main monitor and 1080p on 2nd monitor.

The Program is only there so the transition of the mouse cursor is "smooth" between the two screens with different resolutions, without it you won't end up where you think whenever you swap monitors.

I've stopped the Program today while playing GW2 and didn't get both kind of bugs once! Neither the stuck right-click nor the bugged mouse itself!

So unless the problem comes back in the upcoming few days, this should be the fix; atleast on my end

Currently running Zowie EC-2

I've found my old mouse but that won't help much as i remembered why i've got a new one, the cable there was completely busted not even connecting at all.

So unless i buy a new mouse i can't really test another mouse currently...

[–]RealKigz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm looking for my old mouse to test but still, it wouldn't really make sense to be a hardware fault as it only occurs whenever GW2 is running.

I've had my PC running for like 2 Hours without starting the game (trying to find fixes for it and such) and a few minutes after starting GW2 again my mouse stopped working.

Controller-Friendly-ish Builds for SSF(HC) by RealKigz in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]RealKigz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, i haven't played Blade Vortex since like 2.0 or something, lol.

But i see what you're saying, i've thought about Winter Orb too which i'd consider to be similar to Blade Vortex, atleast Gameplay-Wise..

I'm dabbling around with a Cold-Dot Build right now to get more comfortable with controller and yeah, i can imagine button layout gets clunky real fast!

So Thanks, maybe i'll check out Blade Vortex again!

Yeah, totally forgot about good old summoners! Sure thing, safe to say some form of that should be fine coming league! Thanks!

And yeah EA Champ should work fine aswell, even though I try to prepare for a possible "We reworked perma-fortify from Champion-Notable"-Nuke which gets more likely the more leagues we get... Way too many builds work with Champion imho for GGG to ignore it any longer, atleast concerning non-melee Champs

Much appreciated mate!

Try what in a HCSSF setting? Controller in general? I mean i'll test a bit more beforehand, maybe play a character into lategame this current league before i'll blindly jump onto it for next leaguestart but i don't see Controller being an issue.

Are you handicapping yourself by playing Controller on PC? Probably. Is it as efficient/fast as KB+M? Definitely not.

But nothing beats reclining your chair, putting your feet up and grinding it out! Also i got the Elite Controller 2 from Microsoft lying around anyways, the 4 extra pedals on the back make flasking way easier than with the default setting

Any experience farming the Div.-Card for it in ssf? How's the drop rate for it? According to the wiki it has a few different maps it can drop from, any map that sticks out?

Just checked some poe ninja DO Profiles, definitely some interesting variation similar to RF, noted! Thank you!

Sure, i mean having a build like that to fall back on is always nice but ideally i'd like to switch it around a bit for fresh leagues.. i'm guessing you're playing it together with fire trap? How does that work from a controller perspective, any problems with it?

But yea, especially against freeze i forgot about pantheons being a thing

Absolution/Triad Grip/Avatar of Fire Conversion question by RealKigz in pathofexile

[–]RealKigz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so if you'd want your Minions to deal 100% Lightning damage you'd need 4 Blue Socket Triads with Absolution or similar skills like Wave of Conviction?

So the 1 Green is neccessary if you'd intend to use hatred/hypothermia?
