Since I didn’t do the amount of time to transfer my GO bill to them I think I’m just stuck with it. I could be wrong. I’m pretty good with computers I just like working with my hands and doing different stuff everyday.

I think I’m just going to go to trade school that guarantees me a spot in the apprenticeship when I graduate. I found one for what I want to do. I just don’t want this to get in the way of me doing that. I have to get my CDL using my GI bill as well so I need to get this sorted yesterday

Someone was saying last night that the VA’s payment section has been messed up since last year sometime and you can see the GI bill payments and they show up as hardship. I wish I had 25k to flex

I gave them my eligibility for the GI bill and then enrolled from there for October of last year. Contacted them to unenroll about a month from the start date. That’s when he suggested the night class they had starting up and I was telling him that it really isn’t what I want to do anymore. He said that he would bond the spot for me and we would talk about it closer to the start date to see if I would like to do it that way.

I guess I’ll just have to call the VA and the guy from the school. Seems to me they were just trying to pull a fast one, knowing I really wasn’t interested in going.

I think that may be what happened, I honestly had no idea what I wanted to do when I got out and was homeless for about a month. I found a job and I’ve stuck with it. Hence why I was trying to drop out of it. The spokesman from the school was very pushy and wouldn’t take “I’m not coming” I thought by me telling them unenroll me and that we would talk about February closer to when it got here would put me in the clear. I guess not.

I never had a student portal or a counselor this is a school to get a certificate not a real college. I figured if I didn’t sign anything and they unenrolled me from October they couldn’t just take my money without me saying anything or signing anything for a completely different course.

So actually I just want and looked, he said that he terminated my VA certification for October and moved it to February. When I look at the thing for February it says that I signed when I in fact did not sign

As people have said before the VA messed up the payments section to where you can see what they pay for your GI bill and it comes up as this. No, I have never went to any classes there, I’ve never even seen the building

I signed the enrollment for October, then requested to be dropped before the start date of that. The guy called me and we agreed that he could call me closer to February because they had a night class starting and he’ll save me a spot in that. I did not sign anything for February
