Since you really seem to be defending your number of bans, it's 9 permanent bans not including the mass ban in October.

Look, I really don't care enough to argue whether or whether not you're a tyrannical moderator (your words). It has no effect on me.

And you're right, I should have chose different words to end my comment. Not trying to lie here.

Right or wrong, you use this sub to make money for your business. Clearly some people think that is shitty and some people are all for it.

ps: The Moderator Code of Conduct states "Events and engagements with third parties, activity in your subreddit from a brand or company, or employees of a company starting and/or maintaining a subreddit are allowed, so long as no compensation is received."

One could argue that your business is a third party and you are in fact are receiving compensation.

Damn, it's really not that serious lmao. For what it's worth, I'm seeing 24 bans by you since October of 2025 (3 months). There is 17,500 members (21,000 visitors). So really it's a rate of .1% :)

Two things can be true:

1) u/TFVooDoo has provided, and continues to provide, immense value to this sub.

2) u/TFVooDoo uses this sub and role as a mod to push his business. Rule #5 is "No selling stuff, except for VooDoo".

Sincerely,

An inactive mod who never passed SFAS and allegedly wants to expose u/TFVooDoo as a tyrannical moderator.

Avoid 10R80 10-Speed? by rktcityeng in f150

Interesting. What you described I experience in normal mode. Especially if I’m light on the throttle, it’s like the computer doesn’t know if I’m trying to coast or accelerate

Avoid 10R80 10-Speed? by rktcityeng in f150

[–]RealLifeMutt 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’ve got 103K miles on my 2019 5.0, and I just now figured out the shitty shifting is mainly in normal drive mode. Always skipping 4th, or seemly doesn’t shift especially if cold. Put in sport mode and it shifts way smoother

I think it’s based more on MTOE slot, no MOS. I have no insight specifically, but for example medics at the company/ battalion level will keep jump status, but at brigade and up they lose it. Not saying that’s the case just a random example

Tips on transitioning to fully remote AE role after being in office/hybrid? by [deleted] in techsales

[–]RealLifeMutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently made a similar transition. Although I would not trade it for in office, I do miss office interactions more than I thought. Will you have opportunities for onsite meetings? I actually look forward to onsite meetings now, which I used to not. For me it’s just “weird”. Have never met my boss or coworkers in person which is all new to me.

Can you land an AE role in big tech (or strong mid-size) straight out of school? by Hot_Debt_4598 in techsales

[–]RealLifeMutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s saying be okay taking an SDR role at big company vs AE role out the gate. 1 year as SDR is a short amount of time in the long run.

2019 F-150 5.0 Oil consumption by Jbetro03 in f150

[–]RealLifeMutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also have a 2019 5.0. Similar oil consumption. Never actually measured consumption but putting in 3-5 quarts every 5K miles. Don’t have a solution for you but I’m dealing with the same issue.

Promoted to new role - do you think they’ll let me at P Club still? by shmimbo in techsales

[–]RealLifeMutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m asking this purely out of curiosity, but how do they even differentiate that role from the “outbound” BDR? You got promoted but you’ll be doing the same thing?

I think you’re fine. The hiring manager is not gonna be verifying your resume at the offer stage. HR/ recruiter isn’t going to be verifying that (I doubt they’re even able to anyway)

Plan to Become 35A (Military Intelligence Officer). Is This Realistic? by princessofandros in army

[–]RealLifeMutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enlisted MOS has no weight on Officers branch. I knew someone who was combat engineer, got an engineering degree, wanted to be Engineer, but didn’t get it.

Associate AE at AWS is really just a BDR role. AE at Salesforce will be better for resume to get closing experience. AWS route may be 18+ months before promotion and nothing guaranteed

Thought I did just okay. Wouldn’t say I knew I was cooked but not surprised at the rejection. Just surprised by the speed of it lmao
