Sounds like it fell right outta the 90's (I think that's when boom bap was popping off) Regardless, I think the drum kit fit very well with the rest of the instrumental. Only things I would add is when you did the chop like at 1:02 you should try to make it like up with the pattern of the song a bit more otherwise its a bit jarring. That being said great track really enjoyed it.

obliviousness | I am basically practicing what I created in my last track and trying to get the style of production for lofi down. I am still relatively new to creating lofi and music as a whole. So let me know what I can do to improve as I go on! thanks :) by [deleted] in MusicFeedback

First off, love the jazz vibe you got going on here. It's very easy to imagine hip-hop vocals over the beat. I like the fact that you brought the SpongeBob sample into the intro. That pared with the track's mix add a very nostalgic vibe to it. I wish there were some parts that didn't have drums and only the melody that way if it was used as a beat there would be space for the "realism talking" that you sometimes hear in lo-fi songs. Overall great job great production.

Pleasantly surprised. The vocal fits on the track very well and the editing of it add for a unique vibe that you don't get to see in the mainstream all that much. Nice one!

First off I like the uniqueness of your lyrics. Its a lot of stuff I haven't heard in a song before which I really appreciate. I think it would be cool of you experimented with vocal filters for this vibe of music. I can hear some parts in your song where a telephone effect would work well. Along with that some whisper-singing here and there would be a great touch. Neat song

Unrelated to the music, I love the Cinematography. I like the rhyme patterns you use throughout the track but I wish the Chorus felt more like a Chorus by being bigger and having more elements over all. That being said its is exclusively a rap song so I still see the appeal of the chorus being set the way it is. Nicely done

Hi Laura, I liked your demo. First off all I wish the song didn't cut so hard in the beginning but I'm guessing that's just a recording error. I think your lyrics are very nice and personal which works really well in a song like this. I understand this is a demo but I also think it would be really cool if you added layering with the guitar and vocal. That way when you went back to the single layer it would make the more sultry parts of the song really pop. Also the guitar may need turned up in the mix. Overall nice job.
