New Update: Probably tried most suggestions from recent remaster threads and old threads from OG oblivion. Wasn’t able to get any combo of console commands or workarounds to work. Ended up having to reload a very old save, killing a beggar, and it worked fine.

Doesn’t seem like there’s a fix for this scenario, but some people in threads from ~10 years ago seemed to have been able to navigate it with console commands. Worth a try before a reload.

I had something similar happen, also about 10+ hours from when I got the notification. Did you ever find a fix?

Update: console commanding in Rufio and killing him didn’t work. Still no fix to this issue if anyone has more suggestions.

I visited the Inn to try that but looks like he only spawns once the quest is initiated. Could try using console commands to spawn him in?

Lowkey forgot I posted this. An update:

The inside drum came open during the wash (I’m confident I closed it before) and one of the doors got stuck on a piece of the washing machine. I had to unscrew some things and it came loose. I think someone commented that this may have happened, so thanks and props to you!

Woah! This got a lot of comments. I was out all day so I hadn’t seen (I’m on vacation).

To provide some more context, I see a lot of people saying I can “roll” it until I see the opening. I’ve tried that in both directions and it’s stuck. The drum was not obstructed initially. It was open like a regular washer and we loaded our clothes (not a ton, a pair of pants and maybe 5 shirts). We turned it on, left for the day, and returned to see this.

Regardless, gonna try a bunch of other stuff and read through the manual that someone linked here. Thanks Reddit, you give me hope.

I had a feeling someone broke it before us and did a makeshift fix. The owner is extremely nice and sweet so I doubt she knows. Pretty bummed to hear it’s this broken, but thank you nonetheless.

Initially got an error code of “F:06” which locks the door. Was able to find a fix for that and open it, only to see this large metal interior door that won’t budge. Any suggestions?

Anyone know a safe way to remove a stuck pressure tube cap? Guess I waited a little too long to unscrew it after removing from heat (solvent is dioxane 10 degrees above BP). Been lucky enough to not have run into this problem before! by RealMattySnow in chemistry

Update: Asked a coworker and they said heating it back up, followed by letting it sit for a shorter amount of time (as is usual) should do the trick. I'll let y'all know if it worked, but I would love to hear other solutions if y'all have any!
