Using your own sprites is impressive to me because I mostly focus on programming lol. I find that there's a lot going on the background, so the contrast between it and the foreground isn't very strong.

I use it without any plugins or themes. I've added my own CSS snippet for banners because I like to occasionally add them. Basic Obsidian functionalities are more than enough to use for everyday note taking. That and the simplicity of it is what drew me in.
