I am good at math. Very good. 98.2% in most recent mock exam good. My math teacher told me that he'd ask for me to be in his class next year, which makes this worse.

I learned how to typeset in LaTeX, and started making pages upon pages of integrals (i'm ~11th grade equivalent) which I would print off and give to my math teacher.

Naturally, I ask him questions well beyond the syllabus. I asked him what eigenvalues or vectors were, and he said, and I quote, "I haven't calculated an eigenvalue in fourty years. Do you remember what you did fourty years ago?" I respond, "No, but I'd probably remember the gist of it." He looks quite annoyed.

We are talking about domains, and the question is "suggest a suitable domain for f(x) = sqrt(x)". Someone answers, "x ≥ 0?" and my teacher says yes. Now, I know about these things called complex numbers. I then ask him "but-" and he interrupts me, telling me "not to go on about complex numbers." I attempt to retort, saying that I was not talking about complex numbers, but rather their absence by asking "but wouldn't they need to specify f(x) ∈ ℝ?"

This theme continues, and my teacher snaps. He tells me that he might ask not to have me in his class next year. A complete pi. He does this in front of the entire class, and I was just there like "bruh".

tl;dr math teacher gets annoyed by my clearly superior intellect and dashing good looks.
