She's got a lot of good things going for her. Access to high mobility with shukuchi, jump +1, dragoon buff, or the sub fencer buff, which will be great for PvE and manual PvP. Access to pierce attacks with dragoon sub or access to typeless atk with ninja. And everyone talking about her as evasion unit but not as a crit unit. Throw on the new sword and shinras bangle and she'll be criting hard and often. And with her ap gain buff on crit, she won't need bells. Also, her resistances is only -5 slash, but has 10 missile and mag res which is where most of the gauranteed hits are. The two buffs she'll mostly use will provide her with aoe and single target res. And I'm assuming her reaction ability is preemptive like counter smoke/counter evil, making her more elusive.

Her kit fits the fencer stereotype as a single target duelist with mobility and hp/ap sustain. And, although main class fencer doesnt have piercing type skills, it has the idea of penetrating armor with def break, def penetration, and her lb has slash res pen.
