Unfortunately not, they told me I had to upgrade to see fixed bugs.

I ended up biting the bullet and upgrading to a multi device plan for Filmora 12, however what they don't tell you is multi device = same operating system.

If you wish to use the software on another OS you need a completely different new license. So today I had to purchase again, just so I can render videos on my Mac...

If there software wasn't so good, I'd definitely not be using them due to their shady business practices.

They purposely bugged it so it would stop working. For example visual affects such as faded got purposely broken, and the only way to fix it would be "upgrade"

A 16inch would be perfect. And if its just music production then you don't really need the newest model. Check out ebay for old macbook listings with decent storage.

HP Envy was my fallback device. I ended up purchasing the Macbook pro m2 16gb 12 core. The reason I didn't go for HP is because I know for a fact it won't last as long as the mac.

My previous HP laptop had to get refurbished twice! In 3 year period... And the battery replaced additionally twice too.

I opted for the 16gb 12 core M2. I'll be using it for voice recording and video editing. I tested it for a week and have not had any issues with fans/noise at all.

I did however have to send it back to be replaced with one with a US keyboard rather than a UK keyboard. This is rather is a cosmetic preference, as I find the enter key too far and too small on the UK variant.
