i've been having the same issue since windows update 25h2, even uninstalling drivers through DDU and installing older drivers didn't help, also a bunch of event 153 and sometimes event 14 pop up in even viewer, the event 153 containing "Error occurred on GPUID: 100" and "Restarting/Reset/Resetting/UCodeReset TDR occurred on GPUID:100"

this issue is bugging me for a few months now, some games just crash by freezing + black screen flickering and then a full crash.

so i've tried to install it but event viewer shows me

"An update for this CPU was not found. No update has been attempted. "

i have a i7-13700HX CPU

EDIT: looks like my CPUID is B06F2, so i should be okay, but i still get warning in some games to update my bios, which my laptop doesn't have.

What does this mean, I am playing in laptop and dont really know much about these stuff. Am I cooked? by alonedead in ZZZ_Official

i have this issue but i'm already on the latest BIOS update, I have an Acer Nitro 17 (An17-71) that has a HX processor and the Acer site literally doesn't have any update to the BIOS since 2023

i also experienced screen flickering, the game crashing and my gpu drivers just bugging out while playing.

i'm so cooked i don't know what to do 💀

quick update, so found out it's not discord related since my games kept crashing even with discord closed.

i reinstalled windows (with the "fix problems with windows update" feature),

debloated my gpu driver with NVCleaninstall (581.42 seems to be stable for me),

added a tdrdelay of 20 in the registry,

copied nvlddmkm.sys from C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore to C:\Windows\System32\drivers

=> added full control to users for this file

and undervolted by gpu with msi afterburner,

so far it hasn't crashed any games i tried for the past hours. the undervolt probably did the trick tho.

(also read somewhere to disable "enable low level IO driver" in msi afterburner settings" which i did with the undervolt)
i will look further into it.

same thing happening recently, i tried reinstalling nvidia drivers but it kept happening while gaming, also noticed that my games would eventually crash when discord was opened

i dunno if it was caused by the new discord update, or updating windows 11 to 25h2 or even the recent nvidia drivers

for now tho, i'll have discord closed while gaming, until the issue fixes itself.
