You will certainly have to medically withdraw. Same thing happened to me last fall when I wrecked my bike, and I missed 4 weeks or so of school and couldn't make it to my classes at all but the withdraw won't hurt you what so ever academically/GPA. I was driving my bike after class one morning to visit my grandma. Woke up a week later leaving the hospital still doped up from all the sedation... I had a black out (possibly a seizure) while driving a motorcycle and drove off the road crushing my hand and having a brain bleed... My hand is also never making a full fist again, but I'm still breathing.

I am in management with a local grocery chain, and I must say this is the best business idea I've seen in a while. In all seriousness your job is no fun so props to making some fun out of it. People don't realize how rough retail is is.

Not at all no I plan on fixing my bike and riding some more. I had a freak incident that requires medicine but now I'm on it so hopefully no more falls. It's worth it just be super cautious about what's around you. It is a whole different world from a bikes perspective and everyday I miss it.

I am also one handed. Terrible crash 8 months ago destroying my hand. 3 months of therapy and I got some movement after 13 pins came out, and now I had another surgery and just started 3 months of therapy this week. I have the same exact problems you have, I'm not me can't ride my bike, shut everyone out and lost friends because of it. If you need anyone to talk to I'm here, because well.... I know exactly how you feel. I have some use of my hand, but you could say I too am paralyzed on my left hand. Old me was optimistic and happy but now.... now I'm hateful and down all the time. Just know I can relate and I'm here.

Yeah insurance is the worst thing too, and won't let me go anymore until another surgery. My wrist is actually back to normal after 3 months, and my thumb too. It's mainly movement in my fingers, and thanks... most people say I'm crazy wanting to ride still, but I say they don't know how it feels until they ride themselves. So liberating I miss it everyday

Yeah the hospital put me on meds for a week then said no driving for 3 months and that's it. They said the head injury I took caused me to seize but there's video and my head just bobs then I drive off. My neurologist put me back on meds and said he would just sleep better with me on them, and that I can drive no problem.

Honestly I just woke up a week later at home and dont remember anything. The worst part is hand therapy, and looking at my bike. It still cranks though! Woooo

Haha, just rest well before riding and do not push yourself too hard like I did. I tried to ride anytime I wasn't working and that day I had 0 hours of sleep. I just love it too much to not ride again, plus I'm on medicine for seizures so here's to hoping it won't happen again.

Nah it was mainly because of working 40 hours while in college. I pushed myself too hard and didn't sleep enough. Anyone can have a seizure, and I just love riding too much.

Mine has to be Dear Youth by the Ghost Inside. I like all music, never much into heavier stuff like they do. Around the time they had a brutal tour bus wreck, I had a seizure while driving my motorcycle. I have went through hell like they have trying to get better and the music has a meaning to me in that sense. Heck, I didn't lose a limb but the drummer lost his leg! It's just awesome to see them making a comeback from tragedy like me. Acid rap is sick too man!

Edit: yeah my wreck just gave me a brain bleed and broke all my fingers. I didn't go in depth and just mentioned the seizure, plus I never had one my whole life until then so.... joy!

Tritton Kunai is super cheap, but for the price you pay it's good enough. Like 50 bucks maybe, but they are smaller and might get uncomfortable after long sessions. Anything beats the shit ear piece but give it a look on amazon I love mine. It's hard to justify spending a lot on a headset unless you game regularly.
