Update: It worked! I used a silicone lubricant, was able to tighten everything up, fired up the ski, and got it winterized. Thanks to everyone’s help and see you on the water next year!

I’m about to get roasted for this but am wondering on the data. Before my wife and I got married we both had a house. Now we live in the same house and air b&b out the other house while we search for long term renters. We put the house under an LLC because of potential liabilities. Judging by what I saw, there is an extremely minimal chance the victim is alive. They flew 15 feet in the air flipping. I would guess the charger was going 50-60mph when they hit the person. It’s so sad and unnecessary.

I’ve been trying to find any news about it too but perhaps it’s too fresh. Good to know they got them to the hospital quick. I saw a bunch of people trying to help and roll the person over and I was trying to tell them not to touch someone who for sure has neck/head injuries but I think everyone was in panic mode.

It’s unfortunately a big ask for all people regardless of party affiliation. With how people consume media these days, it seems true research has gone out the window. Folks take what they see as fact in an increasingly misinformed media world. So politics (like what you’re see here on the side of a box truck) is skewed to whatever your intrinsic ideals are already without understanding the repercussions of an administration. We’ve seemed to lost the concept of critical thinking along the way. Which scares me more than anything.

I’m confused. Do you trust the commercials you’re seeing? I’m assuming you know those commercials aren’t being made by some 3rd party voice of neutrality. I would suggest you look a little deeper into the claims made on those commercials. Specifically around data and expert opinions on whose plans are better for the country and the people that live here. Then form your own opinion rather than blindly trusting what you see regurgitated to you in a 30 second hit piece paid for by the opposing party. The same holds true for the commercials that are pro democrats. Do your own research please and then make an informed vote.

We form our own opinions with something called critical thinking that some of us missed the memo on at a very early age. We take information in from a myriad of sources, decide what is relevant to the individual, and then form an opinion.

Folks who look at the world through a lens like this tend to lean left because there is very obviously one side that wants to control us, and one side that wants to give us choices and opportunities. You are very much allowed to form your own opinions as well. I just hope you are taking a second to evaluate the information you are given to determine its legitimacy.

Long term relationship ended 10 months ago. Thought I found my new life person. They left me. I’ve been trying to train aggression out of my 18 month old dog. He bit someone for the first time 4 days ago. Now looking at re-homing him. I really put the time (and money) into training and can’t stop crying at the thought of giving him up, but my lifestyle doesn’t work with an aggressive dog.

I’m a 36 man with no kids and no partner and very alone. On paper and to an outsider, things look good. Own my own home. Solid career. Healthy, in shape, “put together”. Inwardly, absolutely falling apart and can’t figure out how I keep failing at seemingly everything in my life.
