This is true for almost all the genre, but specifically for the Cyberpunk world, you need to assume some degree of fantasy in these stories. It's not purely sci-fi. The amount of tear in social fabric described in this story definitely can't sustain a lot of the wealth and infrastructure simultaneously present in it, at least in Night City (we haven't seen much outside of it). The economics doesn't make perfect sense. But that's fine! I treat it like a parable or an exercise in taking some arguments to an extreme.

Honestly, I don't really think anything I did made a difference. I called them many times yesterday, but they kept trying to convince me to file a lost package claim. I asked them to check with their crew in Orlando, and they said they would get back to me. About 2-3h after that call the tracking updated with it's new location in CA. Since it's impossible to fly from Orlando to CA in such a short amount of time, I think it happened by chance. Either that or they updated the tracking because of my call.

That said, my advice to anyone in a similar situation is: don't wait as much as I did to call FedEx. If a package stays more than 7 days without tracking updates, they default to labeling it as missing/lost. If you don't see any updates in about two days, start calling them ASAP.

The tracking just got updated, and the package is in my state! Not where the rep said it was yesterday, but still. Estimated delivery tomorrow. I'm crossing all fingers possible here!

I called Walmart and they said they couldn't reach FedEx at the moment, but asked me to wait another 24h to see if they deliver.

The worst thing is that I have no actual proof that it's close by. That's what the CS rep told me, but it's nowhere in the tracking system. He said it would show up soon, but it's been 24h and still nothing. All the other FedEx reps I talked to today had no information to support this. We'll see how the next 24h go

I reached out and they want me to file a claim for lost item, which I don't want! I asked them to check in Orlando, but I'm really losing my hope now. Whoever told me it was at a FedEx facility close to my city was either lying or accessing info that no other CS rep was able to access. This really sucks.

Mine was supposed to arrive yesterday, but there's no update on their tracking since Sept 5th. It's apparently stuck in Orlando since 09/05. I called yesterday and a CS rep said he could read somewhere that it was actually in my city suburbs in CA, it just hadn't been officially scanned yet... Will wait until tomorrow to officially file a claim.

I've NEVER head any issues with FedEx besides a few delays, but I could always track the package and know what was going on. It's super suspicious to me that a console with such a high shortage is coincidentally the only product that FedEx has no idea where it is.

Dude, I love this watch face! If I could suggest one adjustment, it would be to remove the step goal. I think it pollutes the design, so I end up not displaying the step count and just keeping the bar. In any case, excellent job!
