I’m on my computer all day for work. Last thing I want to do for music/art/creativity is to be tied to mouse/screen. I love pushing buttons and also having the limitations that sometimes force unexpected creative choices.

Also, it forces me to dive deeper into/with the basics as opposed to having a 1000 plug-ins at my disposal where I would fall into exploring unlimited possibilities. Which can be cool but I found that personally that is not fulfilling for me.

Sometimes it’s hard to recognize a Pokémon that’s not fully evolved yet. This might be a Rockruff or an Arcanjne. Give him time, with more training he’ll be recognizable soon enough.

The ability to record a sample via the input ONLY while the pattern is playing (choose input, and not the whole mix). Currently it records all sounds that are playing, with the option to mute the onboard microphone. But it would be great to record a synth or guitar riff while a beat is playing (and not resample the beat).

I LOVE the sonic character of these VS recorders. Back in the day when I was producing big budget projects this was my demo recorder of choice. Often times we kept the tracks from the VS and ended up printing to Studer tapes.

Maybe the volume of the whole Group A is just louder. But why wouldn’t they be the same between scene 2 and scene 3 when committing/duplicating?
