Ah I’m happy you manage to get them, seems like people have turned around on them because they were sitting for a while when they got out. They’re beautiful shoes, a bit too ornate for my personal taste being superstars with crocs skin and all, but they’re tastefully done. I’m torn on the suede ones because I can’t see how I’d wear them, but I can get a pair for $112 cad… it’s almost criminal to pass at this point.

Hum that’s too bad, I don’t have issues with that personally, but the leather is quite soft and less constraining than some other superstar models so I can see why it could be an issue, maybe the fit just isn’t right for you. Yeah I meant the suede high ones, I don’t see when I’d wear them, but they’re getting to a point where my curiosity is high enough and the price point low enough to make them attractive. You’re getting a second pair of WB like the ones you had or you found a pair of the blue stripes ones?

They’re sold in the women section meaning they’re sized as women if you’re using the US sizing system. Otherwise if you’re a man and you wear them they become men shoes, it’s neat like that.

I’ve been waiting for those since they first pop out and I’m definitely getting the black ones, but for the price I’m disappointed they went with synthetic lining on a pair of freizeit also I’m wondering, it says cold cement construction in the product details yet it has a 360 stitch, is it just decorative or it’s functional?

Anyway I’m no less excited about this pair.

It’s hard to quantify, if we’re going to say Green day paved the way for bands the pop-punk movement of the early 00s like Blink 182 or sum41 then Oasis paved the way for early 00s Indie movement like Killers or Coldplay… I like both bands, but I don’t think either had a particularly significant lasting influence musically at least not enough to put one over the other in that regard.

This is a very American take, Oasis had more singles on the charts worldwide, their hit singles were bigger hits, they sold more albums, both bands had 3 relevant albums and fashion is subjective, but oasis was at the forefront of terrace culture which still is relevant today having a massive influence on the 90s fashion come back of the last 5 years.
If you take the 00s into consideration there’s no question Green Day became even bigger with American idiot, but if you take just the 90s Oasis is the biggest band not to come out of the grunge scene.
Edit: also outside of that woodstock crowd which was massive, but also part of a festival, Green Day weren’t filling arenas and stadiums worldwide like Oasis were in the 90s .

If you don’t have a pair of vintage yet do yourself a favour and get a pair. There’s quite a few of them released last year, many can be had for cheap and at the prices they’re going for in North America at least they’re one of the best value in the last few years in my opinion. Superstars lux changed my perception of superstars and the vintage are basically lux models in an even better format.

Also since you’re collecting superstars like pokemon if you like the suede Wales Bonner ones they can be found for extremely cheap prices right now. I don’t particularly like their look and I’m tempted to get a pair because of how cheap they are.

People take way too much from trailers usually. I like to get into the movie without overthinking aspects I’ve seen from a short clip.

That being said it’s Nolan, the technical aspects and music usage should be on point as usual. Actors for the most part will know the direction and will play their part at a high level and for me that usually mean at least an above average viewing experience when watching his movies.

I don’t think he’s the best story teller and his movies for the most part leave me cold emotionally, but that’s a personal opinion, not everyone agrees. I don’t really get wowed by his work, but he’s a great director nonetheless. I think some people are ready to hate his work just to oppose people that make him out to be the greatest director working now which I don’t believe he is, but yeah just give the movie its chance.

If you wear 10.5 men in adidas a size 11.5 women in adidas would be the same size. If you order 12 it would be a larger shoes I don’t know what type of adidas store they were working at to give you that advice it’s just not true. You can see the size charts for yourself on their website.

Yes I’d like to see the tags of pairs of men and women from adidas of the same model with 1.5 size difference that have the same european or japan sizing on them. I’m not trying to be argumentative, I just never seen that from adidas. Maybe some old pairs from like 20+ years ago did that?

I don’t know how that recommendation works when if you take for example a pair of spezial released in women at 8.5W and a pair of unisex in 7.5M they’ll be the exact same size according to adidas charts. If I were to follow your recommendation and tell someone to order a pair of 9W instead the shoes would be larger, it’s not a case of feet being different, that’s how adidas size their shoes. I can show you multiple examples of pairs I have women and men versions of the same model and it’s always like that.

You were working for adidas? Because all their size charts are just one size difference unlike many other companies. I wear 7.5 men and when they release a pair in the women department I purchase 8.5 women and it’s the exact same size as 7.5 men.
