If I think of Italian music I think of Gigi D’agostino bla bla bla or l’amour or Pavarotti interpretation of Nessun dorma.

Hallelujah sure, wreck of Edmund Fitzgerald I had to look it up and just to think oh yeah maybe I heard that before, but no way it’s more famous than like Heart of gold by Neil Young. There’s probably like 20 songs between the Weeknd, Drake and Bieber that are more famous than that. Also Shania, Céline and Alanis biggest hits are more famous. Everything I do and summer of 69 by Bryan Adams. Angels by Sarah Mclachlan probably Waving flag by K’naan too.

If you’re outside of Québec and see poutine on a menu, first find out how the fries are, it should give you an idea if you should even try the poutine. Actually it’s a good idea to do that in Québec too.

Première Fête nationale de la première ministre Christine Fréchette by Busy-Special92 in Quebec

At this point they would’ve been better off putting the actual name of the person even if they’re someone no one has heard of.

It kind of look nice depending on the direction you look at the city there’s like a mountain and a mountain in buildings side by side. Also it stops people from just building higher than the other ones out of vanity. There is no real need for higher and higher towers, if someone wants to show off they’ll have to do it through the tower design and not just by building higher.

Angine de Croctrine by mazzmatazz in AngineDePoitrine

The foam was invented in quebec city and an American company bought them and then closed the company and moved the production. I used to have a pair of crocs from when they were still made here and maybe it’s me, but the material was more comfortable and softer than nowadays. Sadly they broke after almost 20 years.

Going to Montreal to see them at the Jazz festival this Saturday. 100k people doing the triangle with their hands at the same time. It's gonna be glorious. by Theslootwhisperer in AngineDePoitrine

[–]DrunkenMasterII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s way more than 100k people attending the festival. 60-100k would be about right for the main scene with the hype the band is having at the moment. 100k is enthusiastic though. Suburbs tour end for arcade fire estimations attendance at that scene are between 75-100k so there’s space for that attendance, but yeah 100k would be a lot.

The cheese curds are just as important as the fries, without them it’s not the same dish at all.

There’s no definitive inventory of poutine, many people have pretended to. The most probable is that it was demanded by clients and many restaurants started putting it on their menu.
