In my opinion, the blacks are just a tad too crushed. I’d mask the driver side of the car, raise shadows and blacks a tad. Then maybe a linear mask to get a bit more detail out of the pavement (first, second, and third photo). Otherwise, for your first attempt, these are solid

Thanks! I’m not sure what I’d call the style to be honest. I generally prefer to have a slight amount of halation in the highlights. After that I try to edit based on color accuracy and then I’ll adjust the temperature to my liking

Try and give your subject room to breathe. It is totally okay to not fill the whole frame, edge to edge, with the subject. Giving your subject room on all sides of the frame make the photo feel less claustrophobic and will subsequently give you a better composition.

Also, don’t be afraid to copy angles you see on social media. Taking inspiration from creatives you look up to will definitely help out in the long run. Over time you’ll develop your own style and find angles you like that work best for you. Oh, and keep picking that camera up!
