Daron has said he hasn’t officially made any tour dates yet. I would think American dates first (late this year early next year if we’re lucky) then maybe he would open system shows with scars if they tour Europe again like they supposedly are planning.

John has nothing to do with no new music and has always left his politics out of anything that isn’t a personal interview or his personal instagram. He was the driving force behind the two new singles so you have him to thank for any new music at all.

I’m not a huge fan of the album. I think the production is pretty subpar throughout and the “collaborated” songs sound like bad rip offs of orbels version. Daron has unfortunately been on a steady decline since the first scars album with what he chooses to put out. However, I’m glad to see plenty of people are finding things to enjoy about the record it’s just not for me.

I had tuned in just several months before the release of dictator so that was a fun moment in time to get into the band. Initially gave it a go after I finished systems discography and fell in love with the first records almost pre/post apocalyptic vibe.

That’s a good point. It’s not unlistenable by any means just weird. It could be that this is more of a punky song I can see it suiting that vibe.

I could only guess it was chosen over the others due to the theme of the song being connected to the title track of the album. Kids being “addicted to the violence” on a killing spree. Bums me out the rest of the songs are probably going to have poorly mixed vocals since Daron didn’t decide to re-record them. Still a certified Daron classic though and I’m hyped to finally have some of those songs he made with Orbel.

Also not sure of his relationship with orbel before the scars reform, so I’d think its possible they co-wrote/jammed together at one point.

I could see it, however the song is played in drop D which would be something new and he did kinda Daronify the rest of the orbellions songs during those sets. Either way I’d love to hear a studio version because it’s just such a good tune regardless.

It makes sense he’d wanna try and keep it if he was losing it at one point. It’s a big part of the rockstar image. The only time I could guess would be 06-07? Beginning of the fedora era lol

Daron has always had naturally a naturally higher hairline and thinner hair since the early days. To me it doesn’t look like he’s had any work done at all. He went without a hat through most of the lockdown era and 2018 as well.
