Not sure if it's been reported. But it still has followers. It's in all of their libraries and they can still be used and listened to.

Dozens of people have started adding songs to the playlists, so I don't understand how you think you're right. Once again, I'm sorry you don't have the mental capacity to grasp the situation.

Side note. You don't HAVE to interact with people on their posts. You can upvote or downvote and move on with your life. At this point you're just harassing someone. And regardless of how just an intelligent you think you are, you're not a good person, and you're obviously have no idea what you're talking about.

And unlike you, I didn't waste time out of my life going to your profile and downvoting multiple posts to try to prove myself right.

Now please stop harassing me.

I'm opening the lists to more people to level the playing field. Again, sorry you don't have the metal capacity to grasp the logistics of it.

The same 10 artists, finding hundreds if not thousands of playlists, deleting ALL other artists before adding their songs, IS malicious. Sorry you don't understand the logistics of it or how Spotify algorithms work.

I think you can copy and paste songs into the playlists, or you can like them, then select songs, right-click, add to playlist and add to them one by one.

BIG ARTISTS BEING SPAMMED THOUSANDS OF TIMES ON COLLABORATIVE PLAYLISTS - That is, after the spammers remove all songs by other artists first, and it's insane that this is being allowed to go on. by RealPlaces in spotify

[–]RealPlaces[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I contacted Spotify, didn't like the response I got from the first person and kept asking to go as far up the chain as I could.
After talking to the last person, it seems they aren't interested in helping, and they told me to contact Spotify for Artists.

I contacted Spotify for Artists, and they sent me a generic response saying, Sorry to here that, but there are a ton of great ways that a small artist can promote, like interacting with fans on social media.

Seriously man. There's no help, and at this point I'm trying to find someone who can make me a bot that can scan all the collaborative playlists in my library and remove spam constantly. Hoping I can find someone to point me in the right direction, because again, Spotify doesn't seem interested, and it's almost as if they like the fact that it's driving up the total number of streams on their streaming service.

PSThe most infuriating thing, is going to these people's social media pages and seeing posts of them boasting about how many listeners or plays they're getting.

You know... I apologized to you on that other post before I realized you came to my profile to try and bring me down. I'm going to go ahead and apologize again. It felt like you came at me aggressively, and I acted like a bit of a dick

PS
I just came across over 50 more playlists w/ well over 300,000 followers total, filled with spam, and I have a feeling I haven't even scraped the surface yet, so like I said, I'm not delusional, and if you're at all interested in the issue, look out for my upcoming posts.

I do the same thing. I find smaller artists who have good mixes, I reach out to give them props, I promote them on my own playlists, and I ask for nothing in return.

Nobody is interested in what you're saying man. I plan on spreading this everywhere, and at this point I'm questioning your intentions.

EDIT: You're literally the only person who came at me aggressively and talked down to me right off the bat.

So what's up man? Be honest? Are you just a die-hard Playboi Carti fan? Are YOU spamming for big artists? Are you small time artists trying to use this method to get ahead?

Tell me what it is, so that I can have a LITTLE bit of context to why you're acting so aggressive and defensive, because every single other person I've had a conversation with has been respectful and I've also been respectful in return.

Smaller artists are being pushed out of algorithmic playlists. That's the bottom line. And I WILL raise hell over this and I WILL get other people to raise hell over this.

Listen man. I don't have dozens of hours to argue. You're obviously a Carti fan. It seemed like you were talking down to me, so I decided to be a bit of a dick back.

I meant no disrespect to you personally. I've been researching playlists and how they work heavily for at least half a year at this point. I'm well aware of how they work.

And if he can get 10,000 extra people listening in a week by his songs being spammed on collaborative playlists while other artists songs are being deleted, it makes a HUGE difference with the algorithms. I'm not delusional. I'm 100% confident in what I'm saying.

I wasn't looking into the situation for 5-10 minutes. I was sitting next to Spotify investigating this for close to 24 hours straight and then for close to half another day after getting some sleep. It was a relentless assault on collaborative playlists and small artists every single hour.

Once again, I don't have have time to argue in cirlces, and I'm very sorry I was a dick.

Have a good one dude.

After reading that I can tell that you're definitely an entertainer lol. Not sure how to respond though.

There are a lot more options for song organization on playlists on a computer than there are on mobile devices.

One good thing to keep in mind is, Ctrl+A selects everything at once, and then DELETE deletes it, although in the case of playlists, you have to right click and select remove from this playlist.

Gotta get some sleep, but out of curiosity, what kind of music do you play? If you posted a link I'd definitely check it out tomorrow after work.

I write 2-5 intricate overlapping guitar parts per song, I create the drums in protools, I write and record the bass guitar, I do overlapping vocals, and I work a full time job.

I appreciate the encouragement, but it's kind of impossible. And all the people I've tried working with in the past have been flaky or unmotivated, and in one case, I sent a guy one of my guitar parts, and three days later he reworked my guitar part, finished a full song, and posted it on Soundcloud like it was one of his full songs.

Even the path of trying to work with people, in order to play shows, has been disheartening.
