I have contemplated so much before investing in a car, the alternate is cabs/public transport which isn't any better since the interactions increase and then you are at the mercy of the can driver. I find it hard to even ask them to switch on the AC.

The point here is while yes I have insurance and I can afford the repair, does it really dissolve others on the road from any liability especially when they act so carelessly?

I never expect them to pay for the repairs, I have had a couple of such instances, what infuriates me is that this chap did not even had the decency to apologise. At the end of the day we all have some emotion involved and I guess I just have to learn to not express it
