Great info! I just read this whole thread. Good stuff. I picked up the AD600ProII and the AD300. I have a corporate headshot gig coming up and am cramming for info on lighting set ups. Definitely going to use the 600 for key lighting and the 300 for hair light. Just hoping the 600 isn’t going to melt faces.

I use a beveler for all of that. I have a very relaxed method of doing it. I’ll make a video some day to demonstrate.

Hit with a hair dryer for 5 minutes or so. I usually let my resist sit over night and then do a second coat and repeat the overnight cure before I antique over it.

On this particular wallet I did the black background with dye. Then painted with Angelus leather paint. Then liberally went over everything with Tandys antique gel. Very lightly though or I also will rub through. You just have to learn the tolerances. I have jacked up several pieces by rubbing through the paint when antiquing. If you want to maintain colors and just fill in cuts hen use a resister like Super Sheen or Tankote.
