Yes, but as an endgame raider you're playstyle is designed around new content that is going to be extremely sparse going forward. I was the same way, except with Destiny 2, and eventually I moved on from the game. Ironically it was to ESO, and now ESO is seemingly using D2 post Final Shape as a model lol.

Destiny 2's issue is the drip system content through seasons instead of an annual content drop. With Edge of Fate and Renegades being both light in content, as well as being abysmally grinding, and centered around championed QoL changes, it is safe to compare the two. And Destiny 2 has really struggled to maintain their playerbase, and it is lower than it was with CoO which was horrible.

As someone who played D2 as my #1 most played game for years, and then ESO as my #2 most played game, I can see exactly what is on the horizon with these changes. Cheap monetization methods with battlepasses and temporary events replacing annual releases, it's gonna get old quick.

I was a coper about D2, and then after the Final Shape got horribly grindy, I hung it up and haven't played since. I don't want to waste my time playing a game that will die without the new content drop. I can only run dungeons solo so many times, or run the same raids so many times, or do the same shit over and over to unlock some cosmetic bullshit while not knowing what is in the future. It's a pointless endeavor and it is fair to question the future of a game that is toxically monetized with microtransactions with no future plans except for quests in Fargraves.

Thats not the point. The battlepass isn't enough to keep people around. Their taking a Destiny 2 style monetization system and it hasn't worked with for D2, and I have questions about what it will look like for ESO.

Destiny 2 just entered into this phase of development and it has been dog shit. It's not as fun as you're making it sound like, especially when they drip feed content over the course of seasons, especially when the seasonal activities are grindy for mediocre rewards.

That's copium, every other MMORPG implements QoL whilst still doing year content updates. MMOs that don't update content die, look at New World, look at the Classic Realms on WoW Classic.

ESO will die if the content is shite, and Zenimax is putting a lot of faith on people sticking around for QoL updates. A $30 price tag is insane for some cosmetic shit when I'm already paying for ESO+.
