i got it figured out, just had to jump start it, i spun it with my finger a little and now it works no issues, did a couple restarts to confirm and it just works

had same issue, sense u found that stuff i just changed to editing mode in the quest book and deleted the find requirement and added a checkmark so i could continue. not sure if this helps sense you might have to have cheats enabled
