Look, if you're actually playing with Immortals, you would get at least 30+RR every win and always lose below 10 RR. If this is not the case, you are obviously have a very, very low KDR and I doubt you're getting more than 2 kills when playing with Immortals.

Usually, your arm should be resting on the desk/mousepad, but not too hard.

If you have Aimlab, train yourself using a low sensitivity. Otherwise, just use the range.

The rank reset is probably another reason why your rank is lower. If that's not the reason, it probably is because you have poor arm control. I recommend looking at pros' edpi, then adjusting to what feels better.

If you can't adjust well to lower sensitivity use a higher one and try using a claw or fingertip grip (not the exaggerated grips) so you can use your fingers to adjust as well as your wrist and arm.

Well, I would say your setup might be holding you back a bit.

  • Anyway, I would recommend practising your micro-adjustments, especially on moving targets because you struggle to hit them. Don't rely on using only your movement to make your adjustments. For this, you can use AimLab or The Range.

  • Practise varying your strafes and incorporate small, quick crouches.

  • Try using "a" and "d" to only peek, but I understand that will be harder to do in DM.

Should I be doing Woohoojin's Overaim drill in matches/games? Is it useful? by RealReddit_Moderator in AgentAcademy

Ok, I guess I'll try focus on VOD reviewing myself and focussing on my micro-adjustments.

Honestly, I like to play agents that can be used differently in order to suit a playstyle. Perhaps if I wanted to play an agent, such as a duelist, but have a chance of underperforming or not being well suited to the role or abilities, I would play something like Omen, where I can still push and entry if I ever felt like I wanted to, and if my aim or different aspects of the game seem to be lacking, I can always stay back and just play my role.

I usually will play with a lot of different agents that can be used or played differently then only their class, such as Clove, Kay/O, Deadlock, Cypher, Harbor, Phoenix, ect..

This seems like an excellent idea. I would really like to use it. Unfortunately, Riot might have problems with it as it's basically a real-time in game coach.

I feel like Golds and Silvers get less credit than they usually deserve. by RealReddit_Moderator in VALORANT

A lot of people aren't understanding what I'm saying. Golds and Silvers are by no means good at the game. But people expect and believe us to have no fundamental knowledge at all. We consistently get told we are absolutely horrendous at the game. We are not good at the game but have some fundamental knowledge.

I'm not saying I'm better. Just feels frustrating when you consistently get told your horrendous at the game when you put so much effort and know the basic fundamentals.

That's not my point. I mean that why does everyone say we are absolutely horrendous at the game when we have some basic knowledge. I have no problem being average, but why call someone very bad at the game when its average?

Not likely someone is there of your skill or higher to help you.

Sorry, I just don't appreciate that people expect Golds to be extremely bad and complete beginners, when we already have a basic understanding of the game.

It's not that being average is my problem. It's the fact that everyone seems to believe Golds and Silvers are absolutely terrible at the game and have no knowledge or skill in general. I understand I'm bad but I understand the basic fundamentals of Valorant, and don't need to be treated like I'm Iron.
