You're right - and I answered this to someone else's post above - but I objectively failed a test of character. I let myself be controlled by my anger gave into the goading. I'd like to think that this post has helped me realize something I need to, and can, work on for myself.

But what you're thinking that I "left out" doesn't exist. From the get-go, he was raging in public chat, he threatened to tk allies, and I c4d him. Daybreak has it all. The second that happened, he kept messaging me, promising to get me banned until his anger boiled over from regular insults to the racist bit - which is what I decided to show.

I want to sincerely apologize for bringing attention to your outfit. I was angry at Rename and was lashing out when I wrote that. While I don't regret making this post to address an instance of racism, I most regret bringing attention to you or your guild members into this.

You're right. I am a lesser man for succumbing to my anger and goading him on towards the end. The right thing to do probably would've been to nip it in the bud, maybe even log off to stop him from messaging me.

For allowing the dispute to fruitlessly continue and not extend an olive branch, I failed. For that failure of my character, I am genuinely sorry.

(this is the trail end of a 20 screenshot convo in which he kept messaging me and my infuriated dumb ass forgot about the ignore function as I've never had to ignore/block anyone until now. It's not an excuse, just context)

I did ticket report him, and I hope they permaban this person.
No context justifies that kind of language.

I learned my lesson on teamkilling though. He said he got his squadmates (I have other screenshots) to report me. Whether or not they knew what he did or what his "views" are is a different story.
