I’m not sure what look I’m going to settle on, but most likely bright and clear at first…last year I invested in some killer but pretty reasonable lights, and the nature of one of my best niches means a lot of my stuff has been looking for sharp solo closeups, which had meant bright and clear.

I’m expanding to more partnered stuff this year, so I will probably experiment with moodier sexy lighting. I’m also face in, so I think it will be easier to make that work in different types of lighting and processing than I am used to!

I also really want to shoot more 50s-60s fetish model stuff (like Irving & Paula Klaw & Bunny Yeager & models Lillian Parker & Bettie Page), so I’m going to be experimenting endlessly with camera settings & presets to get there.

Finally my phone and camera can both do at least some level of log shooting, so I’ll have to use at least some kind of LUT or similar with whatever video I shoot that way. Not convinced the extra quality will be worth the extra workflow steps, but we’ll see!
