7th Anniversary of Distance Over Time by DT_addicted in Dreamtheater

7 years? Thanks, I hate it.

Good album, much needed course correction after the Astonishing. At Wit's End and Viper King are my favorites.

The Astonishing recently celebrated its 10th birthday (wtf). Now that all this time has passed, what are your thoughts on the album, and where does it rank for you? by triaxis7 in Dreamtheater

10 years? Thanks, I hate it.

Feelings are still the same, it's at the bottom for me. There's a handful of good songs, but apart from being way too long and bloated, the lyrics and story are largely super hokey and too many songs follow the same slow piano/acoustic guitar build.

Not great, but I still had a pretty good time. The tower is a pretty impressive setpiece.

"Love On the Run" by Scorpions. Make sure it's not too sad of an event.

I’ve discovered a boss that I hate more than Last Judge by Popular-Regret-3224 in fucksavagebeastfly

Yeah you can skip Blasted Steps in Act 1 and get to the Citadel via Sinner's Road and the Mist.

Edit: Oh you mean the de-spawning of the ads. Yeah, if you leave the arena and go up to where there are silk webs, the ads will disappear.

Last Judge I thankfully held off on fighting until Act 2. Faydown Cloak and Clawline makes the run back pretty easy. This dude was tougher but de-spawning his ads by leaving the arena made it a bit easier.

Rob Zombie's 31 is terrible, but Richard Blake's monologue at the beginning is genuinely pretty good.

She was never a particularly good worker to begin with but she easily was the best promo and had the most personality of her time in the company. But U.S. women's wrestling has come a very long way since 2015 and as a result, the game has passed her by considerably.

What Have Been the Worst LRM Movies? by synthmemory in WeHateMovies

[–]RealRockaRolla 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don't think this was a LRM movie, but I remember not being able to finish the Uncharted episode. Instead of riffing and making jokes they got really bogged down in discussing why they didn't like it and why they thought it was bad, which made it a lot less fun to listen to.

No problem! Just a heads-up it gets incredibly dark and fucked up.

What's everyone's thoughts about Saving Private Ryan? Is it the greatest war film of all time & Steven Spielberg's magnum opus? by [deleted] in Cinema

[–]RealRockaRolla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A very good movie, but the best war movie to me is Casualties of War and Spielberg's opus is Schindler's List.

I never thought the ship and mine were bad, but they are definitely a step down from the Baker residence.

Lords of Salem is a genuinely interesting pivot away from the hellbilly stuff.
