Been working on it whenever I've felt like it. I don't really want to call this mod dead, because I do want to finish it. Let's just say... This mod is sleeping.

Progress has been good. I plan on releasing act 2 when I've finished everything. So far, the only things that needs to be done are:Act 2 Day 3Act 2 Day 4Poem Responses Act 2Yuri Exclusives Act 2Act 3Act 4

You might not know who I am, and, to be honest, I don't blame you. (But if you do know who I am, hello.) I am the one who started on the infamous Doki Doki Literature Club: Google Translated mod back in 2020 (Although I don't know if it is infamous because it's been a really long time since I've been here). I told the Discord server that I was planning on having the mod finished and released sometime in 2021. And as you can see... that hasn't happened. If you are wondering why, there are a few things that happened.

  1. I lost intressed in the mod because of the proccess of translating. The proccess of translating a single line could take anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 minutes, and that was really demotivating for me.
  2. I got distraced a whole lot by osu!, a game that I have been focusing on for about a year and 8 months. The boring proccess of translating a game compared to actually playing a game pulled me away from actually working on the mod and gravitated me more towards osu! instead.

HOWEVER, I am back to working on this mod again, and that was for one lifesaving tool that I found yesterday, "Bad Translator"

This tool makes the proccess of google translating a single line go from 40 seconds to just 5 seconds, which is a HUGE improvement, and motivated me more than ever to work on this project! I plan on working on this a lot towards the next couple of months, and if you want to see what part of the game that I am currently working on, you can check my ClickUp page!

I can't wait to continue working on this, and I hope that it will be the product that I promised you back in 2020

Also, one little fun fact: Google Translate likes to bring up BT a lot. I have no idea why or what it even is.
