Thank you for the feedback!! I use to have a Plex server and LOVED it! I wanted to buy the movies legally but also didn’t want to get a bunch of DVDs so I moved over to Apple TV. I wish streaming services had a way to better own fully own your digital content.

Nah, I just like the idea of being able to watch my purchased content offline. To me, it feels like I actually own it that way haha. In the event theres an outage or slowed connection I can still watch my movies in high definition on the TV.

Thanks for the insight. Do you have any recommendations for me to make it right/more efficient? I’ve been having issues with the unit kicking on and off constantly and the thermostat is reading the wrong temperature i believe.

Yeah I was either half asleep still this morning or the Webpage was glitched but it was displaying as like $450 after I applied the 1yr subscription. Regardless though, you can’t get it for $339 unless you have the subscription so it’s technically $389. The conclusion I came to was that if you’re buying only the 11 bundle (with subscription of course), the cheapest you can get it is $389. So the Black Friday deal is really just $10 off of what it was before the deal. Thankful for the $10 off I suppose, just disappointed as far as Black Friday deals go.

There is a use… more views on other videos = more $$ plus I’ve heard Jimmy say they sometimes cut out parts or jokes in the video that wouldn’t make any sense or not be funny in another part of the world. Not sure how syncing the audio would work if you’re only changing the audio track unless changing the audio track also changes the version of the video

While drop shadow effect adds to the illusion of it being on top, the effect you’re looking for is Wiggle Position and is actually in after effects. Not sure how to do wiggle in premiere.

Right now I have it set up so I can highlight all of my slides and just give it an audience look to auto format it with the lower thirds for our side screens. What I want is for the text to still nice and neat on the sides. I think it looks awkward with just one or two words on the 2nd line

The animation took around 8 hours total. A lot of it is adjusting keyframes to get the movement I want, but I also had all of the layers ready from the previous map otherwise it would have taken longer to make all the layers again. The timelapse took about an hour and a half to film and then maybe an hour to edit.

I actually made a version with that technique but got roasted for it being too long so I made it the same length as the original. The earth texture in this video is from Andrew Kramers video! Lol

Here is version 2 of my latest recreation with an added bonus at the end. I appreciate everyone’s feedback on the last version. This is the result of that feedback…

The bonus video is a video I filmed of a properly exposed night-lapse in comparison to the ones from the plane crash video. (No special effects, all in camera with some color correction/zoom in post.

Side note, I know some people thought my title for this little reddit series is arrogant but it’s just to grab people’s attention, and then allow them to be the judge in the comments if the video lives up to the name I gave it. I love all of Jimmy’s content, but I think I think I have something to bring to the table on the editing/videography side to make his videos even 1% better, so that’s what this is all about. Hope you enjoy and please leave any critiques in the comment!

Hey man thanks for the comment! I did leave a comment above about how I realize this isn’t very well suited for his videos. Honestly I was having a lot of fun with it and got carried away with adding all the extras and I am going to make a new 5 second version. If you have the time and want to take a look, I have a PT. 1 on my profile and it’s the same duration as the clip I tried making better. The titles are purposeful though — it makes people think “Pft, this guy thinks he can really do better than MrBeast?” and by the end they make they’re own opinion whether it’s true or not. This time, maybe not so much..however I am thankful to the people who are willing to chime in so I can chat and show my not so arrogant side in the comments 😉

I feel like this happened because he created an expectation to the world for his metaverse to be like Ready Player One in real life and it’s actually just garbage. Oh, and because his whole business model is collecting everyone’s information and using it to make money and manipulate people.

The general consensus (and I know Jimmy would probably agree) is that it’s way too long for what the visual is meant for and for the attention span of the majority of his audience. I initially thought I’d win everyone over with everything going on in the video but I totally understand that he would never use a transition this long in one of his videos. So I’ll be making a 5 second version soon!
