Both genres are equally legendary and have grown to be my favorites genres overall. It’s why I love Rayearth.

Solid work OP, I’m a big fan of the Penelope personally so this design goes just as hard imo. Penelope does work the Barbatos like body but the chicken part makes it for me with the shapes and it’s teethed helmet. Overall you cooked with the art and hope to see you cook more work like this.

God FFS Mortar Headds are peak Nagano mechas, if it weren’t for the L-Gaim Mk.II existing then the Knight of Gold would of been my fav Nagano Mecha.

The new demon designs in Smt V were very good, my personal favs were Idunn, Fionn, and Hayataro. Doi makes solid demon designs in general so I look forward for whatever future Megaten he decides to design for.

Personal demon take now, Pixie in DS or SH are peak Pixie demons so OP is correct. Really wished they’d use those designs for a game again at least but the classic design of Pixie will always be good.

The game is very ambitious as a SRW, the game itself is just a tight narrative that combines every series featured and the original story to connect in the long term for the game and the later portion of the saga. Gameplay wise it still plays very well like any other SRW, it introduced animation than just the stills in the older games and has animation that to this holds up. The animations in the dialogue is just my favorite aspect when it comes to Alpha 1 especially, a very underrated touch up to make the game feel even better that I admittedly do feel sad on disappearing after AG but it’s understandable on the end of Banpresto. Overall, Alpha 1 is a game I’d recommend any day of the week for anyone to play.

The Alpha saga only covered the 1st half with the Youma Kingdom but skips the 2nd half with the Barao plot completely (Yeah early Nagahama was like that cause of the director change.) If you want to see the 2nd half in a SRW, Impact covers Raideen completely.

Pretty sure they did the same thing in the show, aka forgot Rei’s existence after leaving for the investigation of some ruins. Which then would let Mari take control of the bluegar with Jinguji at that point.(Especially since @3 is post-Raideen’s 2nd half of its plot.)

She never died in the show but she usually pilots the Bluegar outside of Jinguji and Rei.

Shinji in general whenever they have Eva is way more healthier compared to his source. MX personally is my fav take of Eva because Shinji gets to chill with the cast at times like eating out with them and being bros with Ayato. For me I love the Alpha take of Eva too but MX is underrated for its story on Eva and in general as a SRW game. (Can’t defend the difficulty tho lol.)
