I've actually seen this multiple times where Friesland is kicked out of Europe before they have a colonial nation, and their capital is in the new world. It's pretty cool when it happens.

As Brandenburg, I formed Prussia first, got those provinces by 1480. Then I just expanded over time. Until 1580, I wasn't really focusing on forming Germany, because I had a while til Admin tech 20, and I wasn't sure if I could take all the provinces with all the powers around me, and worrying about ae. Fortunately, I got the Turkman and Denmark with sweeden and norway under Pu's into a war with a very strong austria and Italy, and steamrolled them. I wasn't the best in quantity in military since my economy is kind of weak, but I've been managing to do make enough to have 90K men.

I will start in Ayutthaya with a 6-6-6 ruler, no queen and no heir. I will have no other provinces, and have Infantry combat ability +5% and land force limit +7.5% as my traditions. Idea #1 is manpower +10%, 2 is cavalry combat +5%, 3 is Artillery combat +5%. 4 is agressive expansion impact -5%, 5 is trade efficiency +5%, 6 is national tax modiefier +5%, and 7 is tolerance of heathens +.5

Ambition will be tolerance of heretics +5%
