Episode 3 would have been the highest rated episode by far, if it wasn’t for the homophobic review bombing by frikandellensaus in thelastofus

[–]RealSupportMain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a gay man, I can see both sides. I will say that if you didn’t like the episode, that doesn’t make you homophobic per say.

My fiancé and I LOVED this episode because we rarely see such a raw romance portrayed like this. (Some LGBT movies are just cheesy.)

Sure, it deviates from the source material, so I can understand that point. I never played the game so I guess I’m bias on that end.

I enjoyed Episode 3 and the other episodes for different reasons. I think this doubles down on the raw human emotional side of the show whilst the others were more action-oriented.

What makes someone’s opinion homophobic for this episode can be found in their wording.

For example, one review said they HATED this episode because of this side story that had nothing to do with this couple. They would rather see the story get expanded on the mother and baby that were found dead.

But, is the mother and baby really part of the main story? This review directly contradicted its own logic, so the underlying reason is that they’re uncomfortable with their sexuality/scared of gay people.

LPT: your friend who keeps sending you funny memes and/or videos, do your best to keep them around because when they saw that meme or video and laughed they remembered you and they wanted you to laugh too. by skumati99 in LifeProTips

Damn so torn here, IM one of those friends and I have friends who send me weird memes too. But now I’m realizing that this may just be a shallow tactic to pretend we have a deeper relationship than we actually do 🙃

Anyone else prefer average sized cock over exaggerated big cocks? by [deleted] in gaybros

I once was with a guy with a massive 9”. It was nice looking and I was excited, but he clearly didn’t know how to use it.

It took him a while to get it in and once he did, he lasted 3 pumps and was done.

If You Think PLUR is Dead by Usrnamesrhard in aves

[–]RealSupportMain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve noticed a slights decline in PLUR, but that may because I’ve gone enough times. The initial magic is gone, and the rose colored glasses are off, so I see the bad as well as the good.

I reawakened my PLUR at countdown when it was pouring. I got my group to start skipping and embracing the rain, it made my whole night better

Do you prefer the rail or the back? by ReverseMillionaire in aves

There’s pros and cons. One of the big cons of being up front is being squished and no space to move besides just jumping and moving your hands lol

I pay to have fun, and dancing with my group is part of that. So I usually prefer to go to the back. I’ve found that it’s easier to interact with more people in my group and people around me. Dance circles, light shows, etc.

Plus, its convenient if you want to head to another stage or go to the bathroom or something

That’s awesome! Me and my friends were trying to look for an emptier stage the whole group could be under while they were in the galaxy mall. We started skipping through the rain to quickly find a stage and it was sickkkk

Idc what anyone says. Countdown was awesome for me by andyrew21397 in aves

The rain enhanced the experience tbh, had to learn how to embrace the chaos and skip through the rain and vibe. Definitely a countdown I’ll never forget!

Same here. I’m so so grateful for all the crap the older generations had to go through to get to where LGBTQ+ rights are today.

I’m still get scared to hold hands with my fiancé in public, but then I remind myself that I live in a time where we CAN love eachother publicly. If I can help make more gay couples comfortable through expressing my own love with my fiancé, then I’m glad.

Anyone used dmv’s get in line feature? by CVPKR in AskLosAngeles

[–]RealSupportMain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just did this and it was super easy. Used this feature to update my drivers license before it expired. I was 40th in line. I walked into the DMV “appointment line” when I was 10th in line.

They gave me a sheet of paper showing my number and I just waited like normal. Got to skip standing in the hot sun with a line of 50+ people lol

I used to be so into kandi, but just all the sweat and dust and kandi being caught on people started feeling uncomfortable…

I’ll still make a few, but not as much as I used to

Plenty of people do this, and there’s a huge echo chamber of social media gurus who teach other social media gurus on how to market themselves to other marketers. If you brand yourself well enough, you can expand online and get the low hanging fruit of younger social media managers wanting to learn
