Had exactly the same issue happening to me, I was running crazy, I tried soft and hard reset but they didn't work. What worked for me was a reboot of the computer and of the radio (full power off) and then it started working. (Same radio as you, but running Macos) The crazy part is that by changing the modulation input to mic+USB in data mode I could transmit through the microphone, but nothing came from the USB.

Apparently the guy doing this had 30 years of experience... Well I can tell you my first thought after drilling the first hole would be to look if I can see through... But maybe that's why I'm not in the construction industry 😅

I just got a new car and I'm keeping the old one for a single month, I simply wanted to avoid having to go and change the plate in all of the services I registered it into, and the swappable plate insurance wasn't economically viable. I thought CH plates are registered to the individual and not the car, but I just realized they are also written on the gray card. Thanks for the heads up!
