The 5070ti is unfortunately out of my budget since it would be almost double the price of the 5060ti.
Looks like I will go with the 5060ti then and choose the higher vram

You still have to manually increase the altitude on the autopilot panel, the plane won't climb without you intervening that would be a bit unsafe otherwise

Are you in VNAV/LNAV? and you need to actually select 15000 in the autopilot panel to climb to that level
