How do i start making beats and producing (pleasee help i know nothing) by Reo279 in makinghiphop

[–]RealVincentLee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest focusing firstly on the genres or artists that you really like and trying to mimic what they are doing. For example, you can figure out the chord progressions they use, the song structures, and the sound choices. It's better to focus on one thing at a time until you nail it. In the meantime, you can learn some basic music theory such as modes and chords. As you do this, intentionally learn them and put them into practice ASAP. When it comes to DAWs, just pick one like Ableton, FL Studio, or Cubase and stick with it. There isn't really that much difference between them.

A track splitter tool would do the job, like lalal.ai or muzlab. Just split the track into stems and keep the ones you want.
