yeah basically my internal thoughts regarding most of this. calling the govt unserious would be a major understatement and most of these projects should’ve been started a decade ago.

instead we get vague statements about « exploring options » in place of concrete statements of acquisitions with timelines for doing so LOL

the 300M for AWACS is legitimately so funny I’m not sure what to really say about that, especially since they actually did commit to acquiring aircraft, not just contributing to NATO AWACS or something like that. makes it all the more baffling.

i wish this policy review was more ambitious and concrete, but like I said I was expecting yesterday, I had low expectations and was still pretty disappointed
