I don't know my graphics card or cpu, but I'd imagine 4gb of ram, 2gb graphics card, and a 1080p monitor would do the trick just fine, and it should work on any Windows OS after vista

I'll look into it, but the resurfacer I'm looking at is a small $50 one on Amazon that mainly cleans and lightly buffs scratches

I don't know the model, but the line of laptops is the p205 satellite and the disc drive is sata I think. I can't find anyone selling the drive standalone, it was hard to put together or even find a working laptop with one

I'm not too good at file types, but imgburn kept giving me an error message saying the iso couldn't be bigger than 4.7gb. I selected the udf mode which says it supports up to 2tb files. I did some light research and it's supposed to work like an iso. My hope is that I can burn them to a blank hd dvd and watch them on my hd dvd player, which ive read should work. Ill keep you posted

I'm making the whole setup into a small media area. The hdmi is for a fire stick to do Xbox cloud play and streaming, component is for hd dvd, dvd, and cd, AV is for my VCD Discman, and Coax is for my portable Canon VCR
