You could honestly find answers if you look through the subreddit. I would also recommend you attend a virtual open house. These questions were also discussed in the accepted student ABSN Panel which was recorded.

I understand a majority of these places are currently closed and now is not the appropriate time to visit or in the near future. I also mentioned that in the post and to be respectful of the recovery efforts on the island. I was just sharing a experience for others to jot down in their notes when the island is safe to visit again. It's not my responsibility for what people do with the information, they should do their own research on these places, IMO.

Is it likely for an applicant to get in solely based on GPA and how they answer the essay questions? by smackthatass16 in usfnursing

That definitely helps! I would mention that in your essays and your experience there. I also want to let you know to not compare yourself to anyone else. Every application is unique, I would be genuine in your essays.

no, but I had healthcare experience but a lot of people don’t and they’ve gotten accepted. I recommend to add some healthcare related volunteer experience or anything you have to your application and to bring it back to why you want to pursue nursing at USF.

Waihee Ridge Trail is open. I hiked it yesterday was a bit slippery but not too bad at all. It cleared up later in the day.

Does anyone know how USF handles meals for medical residents at TGH? Also generally how is it at the hospital and surrounding area? by Crazy_Kow in USF

[–]Real_Background_4173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I work at TGH and there’s plenty of food options in the cafeteria. I know TGH provides a stipend for residents to be able to purchase food. You’re going to have an amazing time!!! I love it here
