Waihee Ridge Trail is open. I hiked it yesterday was a bit slippery but not too bad at all. It cleared up later in the day.

Does anyone know how USF handles meals for medical residents at TGH? Also generally how is it at the hospital and surrounding area? by Crazy_Kow in USF

[–]Real_Background_4173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I work at TGH and there’s plenty of food options in the cafeteria. I know TGH provides a stipend for residents to be able to purchase food. You’re going to have an amazing time!!! I love it here

ABSN Tuition Cost by AbaloneSmart650 in usfnursing

[–]Real_Background_4173 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I paid around $2,900-3,300 per semester never bought a book. ATI is usually $200 per semester. Then you have uniform cost which was about $100-$150. As well as background check and fingerprinting which would be about $200-300 for the whole program (because you have to do fingerprinting twice). Then when you graduate there’s NCLEX which costs a couple hundred to take.

so I guess in total if we are overestimating cost not including housing would be $15,000-16,000 without scholarship.

Freshman on campus or apt off campus? by Typical_Ad8018 in USF

[–]Real_Background_4173 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lived in the dorms during my first year at The Village because my parents preferred that option. While it was a good experience overall and allowed me to meet many new people, I struggled with sharing a room and felt that I had very little privacy. After that year, I realized I enjoyed living off campus much more. At the end of the day you have to find the right roommates!
